Were back safe yipee!! Thou dd through a massive tantrum Fri ngt, sobbing her heart out, she didnt want to leave the caravan, took me 2 hrs to calm, her down, and that was only haveing to go back to say goodbye to her boyfriend (bit of a joke, hes a gay entertainer, hes se so sweet with her, and he jokes that shes his girlfriend).
Plan was leave at 7pm Fri, then it was 9pm, she slept within 5 mins of driving, glad got the Sat Nav, kept chirping about speed cameras etc, then driving through Kidderminster I usually go through on the ringroad, never thought any different 1am on a Sat, let the sat nav direct me, it took me all through the back end of Kiddermionster, got home at 2am, safely.
Had an absolutely fab time yesterday, my mate and me went ot see Blood Brothers, it was amazing.
Were back to Devon in Aug, so more tears to follow.
Bless him, dad now has the runs, so hes a dying duck, has to go to bed....
The horse raceing was fab, out of 7 races we got money back from 6, 3 winners, the rest places (we did £1.00 each way, me, dad + dd, a couple of races we did have extra bets for the hell of it)the funniest was I backed a horse called Henripierpoint, or something like that, remembered the film about PierrePoint (the last hangman in Britain), the horse was an outsider, he demounted the jockey twice before even getting to the starting line, and he won...... between the 3 of us, we spent £66 on bets, and got back £51.00 so very happy.
Money front, went over budget on holiday, but then its one of those things, and when ur paying £3.20 a pint cider, the alcohol intake was low.
Good news dd lot better, shes still pale, so going to book go appointment for afta school this week, shes been through lot, so guess its understandable, back to school tomorrow.
We did have another "mother incident", she was complaining for 2 days her eyesight was playing up, she couldnt see properly, course after all her incidents we imagined the worst....... NO....... the 3rd day, dad said to her let me wash your glasses incase you got grease on them (we were looking at the easy options), the dozy mare, she had been wearing her glasses withn only one lenses in, luckly we found the dropped lenses in the bathrm, by the side of the loo.... how, why, when, PASS
Got my loan papers through, the figures are different from the phonecall, but tthe just of it is got 10k, payable back at £187.00 month, for 78 months, but dont pay for the first 2 months, I can overpay the loan, but it doesnt reduce the interest. It works out paying back 14,500, so need to adjust sig and spend an afternoon going through everything with a fine toothcomb/
I've set up £250.00 to come out for June, knock that off sig after, so obviously any money left after 2k for dad, the credit cards, then replace savings in priority, I know theres a shortfall, so think my priority will be cover all saveings 1st, that will be difference between loan and £250.00, then when there done then put extra on the loan, I intend to knock a minimum of 18 months off the loan. but have got a feeling that I will have to pay 2k back to dad off what I owe him, that leave me 8k, think cards are about 6k at rough estimate. Need a clear head to deal with money.......
But I still need a life inbetween, hense the consolidation loan, in the long run it still saves money.
This week got 2 weeks worth of Open Uni study to do, then following week write the assisgnment up,
Guess just have to see what happens when we go down in august re the man, dont think its going to lead anywhere, (unless I moved down there) but itsd good confidence booster.
Alsoe decided the next 4 weeks I'm going to keep a food diary :eek::eek::eek::eek:, to see where the trigger points are and try and go from there, I'm not ready for slimming world, etc, waiting to see a dietician at hospital, so might as well get the help off them, but at least teh food diary will help (perts refresh that hinder!!).
Better go a bit further, catch up on the posts.
TTFN xx

Been good and set up Junes payments to go out, the snowball says £225, I've paid £250, in one way yes its only £25, but positive me, (trying to not get stressed, not worry, and be positive (easier said than done)), its an extra 10% off, and its only the 1st week of the month. Hopefully should be a bit more going off by end of the month.
Now payed just over 2k, brilliant as snowball said £1350, so thats roughtly 50% extra. about £500 short on estimate to pay back 5k this yr, but never say never and there is afternoon tea at The Ritz rideing on this, so will push harder and get that 5k off.
back to studies.......
Quick calculation the loan should finish Dec 2015, so thats added 2 yrs 8mths on to debt original debt free date (Apr 2013) but plan A as before got to kick into gear.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I think the loan amout is an easier amount to keep to and overpay when possible and the saving in % is great.
Good luck with hitting the 5k target.:j0 -
