Not much to report, mums getting better, shes had her hosptial appointments, the gd news her scan on her neck came back clear, she also had a ct scan, got to wait for the news.

Not much on debt front, getting there slowly, listed some of dds stuff, anything we make thats her gets reinvested in something else. I'm sure at night she sleeps in a grobag!

Had diabetic appointment, the good news my cholestrol perfect. (amazing condsidering they stopped the medication), my sugars up:eek::eek::eek:, 8.8, meant to be between 4 and 7, so have had to have medicaition changed, more tablets, now just rattle throughtout the day.

Weight- where did that come from, had the lecture...... if I sat on my rear 24/7 eating cream cakes (not very mse), Iwouldn't mind. Next thing to address!!

While the my mum/daughter saga, we were contacted by an agency, who want the story and are touting it round the womans mags........ we are now under contract and can not give press interviews etc.......!!

Just haveing one of those can sleep moments so MSE to the rescue.

Can not believe it,my One Poll account I'm 25p short of £40.00 payout......... thats already been allocated for dd ballet - going to a gd course.

Just looked at my sig, cant believe how well I've done, snowball (inc May), was £1125 to pay, but still got payments to be made and so far pd £1654,thats about 40% more than planned, and I've knocked a whole 10% off my debt:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Thank you, the mum/daughter re mum and her mini stroke. We had a phone call from the company behind the stroke adverts on TV and all the publishing, wanting an interview off mum, for future use!!

But before that long story, but some woman from an press agency is interested in the story and were now under contract with them, it may come off, it might not........so watch this space.

The way I look at is, if one person takes note of the advert it could be another life saved.

Yes its an odd time to be on, but dd being poorly got really upset as went on Disney Quilt cover, (shes got 3 other different patterns), but no this has to be flavour of the month, so waiting for washing machine to finish. x

Just thought pop my head in, nothing really to report, still paid a bit extra off the debts this month, were get there eventually.

Good news got my trip on Orient Express sorted going with my Aunt, redeemed some Sainsburys points equivalent of £15 if we used in store, but it saved us £138.00 for the 2 of us, (was £195 each now £252, £127 each, and my Aunt and Uncle paying half my ticket as a thank you for takeing her, so very exicted, and another one on my 40 list being achieved.

Taking mum down Devon half term with dd, give her a break, and hopefully the sea air and the fact that were in a caravan she hasnt got far to move, help her.

I've been playing catch up with the study, so far got 2 weeks worth of work done this week, about 2 weeks behind, I'll have to ask for an extension but my tutor is fab, so no probs there.

Trying to bring my date free date forward, at mo its April 2013, but have done a spreadsheet with squares as £10, so colour in when extra £10 pd over the allocated amount, I know its a bit daft, but thought it might help to see it from another perspective, and another kick up the bum.

Got some more xmas presents this week,
Home Bargains, - kids 100 piece jigsaws 99p, boys pirate stationary sets £2.49,

The Body Shop - did the 2 for £20 Body butter / sctub offer and used 10% discount card so all helps out.

Should aim off the bed, just one of those nights.

I have some absolutey brilliant news to report got a letter this morning from my bank, saying that I had been guarenteed a loan upto 11k with an apr of 15.1%, me thinking here we go again, once I ring there say ha ha....... you just have to look at my bank account I'm overdrawn, I have a claim in for unfair chrges and they offer me a loan!!

My snowball as of May 8th was £14289 inc intesest ADDED IN)

So curiosity got the better of me....... and I rang, I couldn't believe I must of been gob smacked, I have taken a £10,500 loan payable at £185.00 a month over 6 1/2 years, and I got the apr for 11.9% I nearly fell off the chair..... I dont think I've said oh my god r u sure, that many times in my life,

So I have taken the loan, at a rough calculation still owe £2k, but hopefully when I have got the money, and I've already paid May, be paying Junes payment as well, so that should help knock down the figure),but I will pay off all the credit cards 1st, and close all but 2, and close my store card, then my overdraft, and any money left will start to replace the ious to myself and family.

My 1st loan payment comes out August, by the time the paperwork has come back and forth I should get the money mid June (rather give it a few more days than rely on it), so Junes payments will be normal and pay off the cards as soon as the money comes, so in theory Julys payment will be zero, so the £225 that is allocated for July, will go up of the loan, got to wait till I get the loan and then ring and see whether I can overpay or if its a settlement only, if its over pay then July £225 go straight in, then from August the difference from £225.00 to £185.0 (£40.00 a month), that will go off the loan as well.

If I was just paying the bare loan amount that takes my debt free date to Jan 2015, where my original debt free date was Apr 2013.(in theory to get back to Apr 2013 I need to pay 86.00 per month extra to Apr 2013 ), but again till I get the money I wont know actaul amounts.

Apologies for babbling on, dont know if I have made much sense, but I just babbled as so exicted and will be better. Just need ot be really strict.

In a way I didnt want to go down the loan route, but when I'm paying on average £140 pm interest and got aprs of 39.9, 31, the loan will pay for itself.

I WILL MAKE SURE IT IS NOT AN EASY OPTION AND I WILL PAY EXTRA AS I WANT THAT DEBT FREE DATE APRIL 2013.
