Must say that this holiday with DD, we really bonded, we have a couple of trips out,
Reps Cabaret
2 day safari, - saw El Jem, where they filmed star wars, dd bottle fed a baby camel, had lunch in hotel built into caves, ride on horse and carriage, saw cave house, the salt lakes, and where a sandstorm had shaped the sand naturally,
Safari park + evening meal with zulu dancers.
Been to local markets
Went on a noddy train.
Will figure out how to upload photos and add a couple on.
The dogs on the beach, the one had puppies, and they were sbout 6 weeks old, they were gorgeous, so they ended up with, my nightie, shorts, tshirt, and her nightshirt, so they dont miss her!!
The hotel had a riding stables, so we went down a couple of times and fed them sugar cubes,.
We spent a look of time in the pool, which was a godsend, as every bone in my body ached, even though I couldnt get a proper swim, as dd has only just done her level 2, she was a little mermaid.
She wants to go again next yr!! I'll just find the money tree!! xx

Just a flying visit, started off as a good day, but unfortunatetly mum was taken ill this afternoon, shes had a mini stroke, I say thank god for the tv advert, as I recognised some of the symptoms.
Shes been admitted into hospital, the next 24 hours are critical, as shes at most risk of haveing another stroke in that time, so shes on bed rest, as they were doing the check over they found she has a heart murmer, so that has complicated things.
Got to ring the hospital 2mor, and hopefully she could be home on monday.

Gd news, we caught it in time, they gave her oxygen at hospital and asprin, they let her out this afternoon, we have to go to gp 2mor, then she has to go back and forth to the hospital, she has to have an brain scan, and a scan on her neck to check her arteries, depending on what they come out as is to what medication she needs.
Thou have to confess I am inj absolute agony, never again, will I try to get her down the stairs via her bum! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Glad they've let her out.If anything like that happens again(hopefully it won't) then you shouldn't try and get her down the stairs yourself .It would be best left to ambulance crew to do that.0

You havent met my mother!! I'm overweight, but shes heavier than me, my dad was a stubborn pig, he took the key out of the door as dd was going to get the nice neighbour faceing to help, (hes very muscly!!), by the time I got mum down stairs dd got past and grabbed the spare key, mum was just in such a state that she didnt want to go, in all honestly she has now said she was that scared that she was going to die, (my nan died of a stroke) and she didnt want anyone to see her in that state.
Shes got a gp appointment 2mor so I'm going with her, to make sure that they follow up the scans etc and see what we have to do.
The diet has gone out of the window have to admit I just comfort eat, it scared the heck out of me.
Totally agree Tazi, next time (god forbid), she will have to wait for the ambulance crew, I've done all my stomach muscles in, feels like I'm permantely in labour!! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sounds like a nightmare hope your Dad apologised and you feel better soon. I know what you mean by comfort eating its all too easy.:j0
