I've had a whirlwind / get orgainsed afternoon, v worrying!!

    Listed some clothes on ebay

    Booked appointments -
Off to see dietacian at hospital end of April

Rang the physio dept - now top of the list for physio in the hydrotherapy pool, but the temp has now gone cold in the pool, tha be out of action for at least 2 weeks, but I'll get in eventually

Got an appointment to see a surgeon - re weightloss, the clinic I saw about my back think that I mat be eligable for consideration for a gastric band op........ me no way, yes I need to lose weight, but its like a vicious circle cant exercise coz of back etc the claories mount up, but I agreed to go and c the surgeon, I very much doubt there give me the gastric band, but I have to go

Booked the appointment to see consultant - the near fall I had last yr, done some damage to my neck so got to go and c another consultant
Did look at tidying up the rest of bedroom, looks like a bombs hit it, but the studying won...........

Paid for the car repair £460.00 on dads credit card!! he does know!!

So now for the game of monopoly dds, flavour of the month, thou given half a chance she cheats......... another hr or so of studying, then get to play on the net...... xx

Not much to report, nearly the end of the month........
Took dd shopping yesterday, she did v well, made nearly £40 from selling dds clothes, so she reinvested in the Next sale, then hit the posh shop Primark, spent more than I wante, but bless her when we got home she gave me £10 from her pocket money purse, as she had a couple of extra items, I cried, bless her.
The extra come out of cb, get mine 4 weekly and March double month, so it helps out.
Still got raveing toothache, so fone the dentist 2mor xx

  • Awwww your DD is so lovely can I borrow her to talk to mine! Next are a good investment though bound to resell on ebay and are usually a good fit. I was tempted but was good.

Clothes are such a drain. Even though I get hand me downs I still have to top up on stuff. The lastest £23 was on DD1 tracksuit and school trousers another sneaky growth spurt . Oh and DS got socks because he has a knack of making them disappear .

((((Hugs))) on the toothache hope dentist can sort it ASAP. The pain is up there with child birth for me.

Hi Mum - hope the tooth eases for you.

How sweet is your DD? My daughter asked if we could go to Disneyland (bloody adverts on TV!) and when I said we didnt have enough pennies, she offered me her moneyjar - which in fairness has probably got more money in it than mine! Its sooo lovely when they do things like that!

Hope things go well with the surgeon - there is a great slimming forum that I go on that has a whole section about people who are waiting for or who have had weight loss surgery - give us a shout if you are interested.

Thank you both, dd has her moments, shes got a heart of gold, while most of the time!.
This damm toothache, I'm sure childbirth was easier.......ring the dentist 2mor and see what they have to say

No more debt busting at the mo, think its being going the other direction, but guess thats holidays etc for you.
I guess in a way with dds clothes, I get my cb 4 weekly, and March was the month I got 2 payments so its came at the right time. I love Next, but begrudge their prices, we were lucky as it was half price sale, she got a full price dress, which was £8 so was plzed with that. We got some bargains from Primark, 2 tshirts for £2.50 so cant complain.

I have to confess I was in such a mood yesterday, absolutely knackered, I pushed myself with OU work, did 1 1/2weeks in week to catch up, the toothache, and mums been upset, can't blame her, its was the 40th anniversay of them loseing their daughter Karen she was 18mths old, passed away with cancer. I've been organised and sorted out the hospital appointments, sort of makes things real, when its u need to ring up, ok its there. but the appointments make it real.

I threw the folder with all my ou work across the floor, and sods law the damm folder flew open and u couldnt see the carpet, I laughed, either that or cry..........and it took me 2hrs to get the papers sorted

Think I'm worrying about the holiday, I'm looking forward to it, and be great to have time with just me and dd, but its the 1st time its been just the 2 of us, sounds like a right cop out, but mum and dad did/do hell of a lot for us and I feel like that I'm spiteing them by going but she is my daughter and I have to do what is best for me.

I'll be glad 2mor when I've rang the dentist and hopefully get something sorted out, guess that help a lot.

Then new start in April, new month for debt busting, a lovely holiday, and I've given myself 2 yrs to get my rear into gear.

On the positive side, I had some gd news, my Aunt and Uncle came round and they had a look at my photos from last yr from trip on Orient Express (ok Northern Belle - the british version), my uncle wanted to go till he saw the pictures of the food, he doesnt think there was enough on the plate to feed him, but told my Aunt if she wants to go he'll pay for her to go with me and pay for me as well. If I redeem Sainsburys points get £65 discount each......... so hopefully she will go and I get a free day out.......... Got to keep fingers crossed.

Think I've rattled on and moaned enough, so apologies for moaning, but feel better now thank you. xx

  • I think this BST clock moving has thrown alot of people. I can understand why you are stressing over the holiday but please try not to and just enjoy. Its a fantastic opportunity that will fly by. Real life will be back before you know it!!

Great news about the Orient Express that was one of the things to do list wasnt it?

Oh and dont feel bad about moaning as you know I am great at it but it does help typingit out rather than brooding on it.

The tooth is sorted, but the lengths I had to go to........

    Give you a laugh xx

    Just of the conversation....
me - explaining the toothache and that I was told to ring back in a week
them - can u come in a buy another bottle of mouthwash, that was what dentist suggested last week
me-the mouthwash didnt work, i've been in agony, crying in pain cant eat, and as I explained last week I'm on holiday next week
them - we cant do anything your dentist is on holiday this week
me - I wasnt told this last week, can I see someone else this week
them - the other dentist is on holiday as well, you have to realise its her husband, the 3rd and remaining dentist is full, we didnt know they were both off!!
As u may appriciate I had steam coming out of my ears....... fuming....
them - do you pay for your prescriptions
me - no I dont, can I ask what that has got to do with the toothache if I need a prescription then i need it whether I have to pay or not
them - as you dont pay for prescription, ur an nhs patient, and the remaining dentist is full and only treats private patients
me - (trying to be firm polite and not scream in pain - when I talked it hurt more...)
I said I need to be seen I'm fully flexible when I can come in but something needs doing urgently, espically as I rang a week ago
them - theres nothing we can do we suggest u wait to ur dentist comes back next week
me - I can not wait till next week,
them - were see what we can do, but can not promise anything
me - if I do not get seen 2day or 2mor espically after ringing last week, I will contact the pct trust, the local mp, the local paper and the local radio and ask them would they like to accompy me when I come and have a sit in at the surgery.........

    10 mins later......
them - they phoned back, the dentist will see you, he is fully booked so it may be a case of waiting but you will get seen today, have u contacted anyone
me - not yet, but have all the relevant numbers on speed dial

took a book in with me, only had to wait 30 mins, the dentist went mad at my tooth, I should not of been left like that for a week, and the best bit is he asked who bodged the filling, (I had great pleasure telling him who it was), I should of been offered a root canal work with a crown, as the tooth was half a tooth and should not of been filled liked that, as soon as he touched the filling it fell out, so bless him, he said I could try the root canal but as its been left so long the tooth is liable to crumble and break, he apologised that he had no option but to take the tooth out, luckly its one at the side, so unless I do a wide mouth open smile no one will know.

Quite funny got home, looked in the mirror, and of course there was dry blood on all my teeth and lips, I was pale, looked like Dracula, and I fainted!!
    Spent the afternoon in bed!
It still hurts but its a nice hurt......

Its so annoying the things you have to threaten just to get somewhere.xx

Thank you both again, in a way March was a weird month, I seemed to take one step forward, but then up 2 steps back, and although I've paid more of my debts, just dont feel Id done enough, although looking back today over online bank statement, couldnt of done any better.

I guess the toothache didnt help, I'm like a big baby when I'm poorly, its so stupid, and think that got me down, but as I say when u hit the bottom theres only one way to go and that back up!

I am now offically a yr older, not sure if its a year wiser.

But from my personal 3 month review these are my achievements.
I had a final lighbulb moment and sticking to it
I had estimated £775 off my debts, yet I have achieved £1185
I have got all birthday presents, (bar mum, dad, dd), sorted, all money neutral
Got 1/3rd of xmas prezzies sorted
Made xmas cards, got all xmas tags, remaining cards, and paper sorted
All hospital appointments now sorted so in the system as they say
    Got 86% on 1st tma - business
Holiday - trips planned to Saraha desert (£150), tradational tunisian ngt (£30), and safari park with zulu dancers -(£30) (est the 2 trips but know the safai right price), £210 - got that ready from m-shop, cashback etc, so thats one less thing to worry about.

So guess I'm proud of myself, theres going to be up and down days, but being able to put it all in words on here, makes it better I know that sounds daft, but I WILL GET THERE, I WILL BE DEBT FREE AND I WILL HAVE A LIFE INBETWEEN TIMES XX

Think losing the hrs sleep didnt help......... need 100 extra hrs to recap beauty sleep
Great news about the Orient Express that was one of the things to do list wasnt it?
Thats on my list, just got to make sure she doesnt change her mind....... I am her favourite neice!!
