If it doesn't smell of vinegar, I would try tasting a bit - if it tastes okay, I would drink it!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Sorry if this is in the completely wrong forum, which no doubt it is.
How long does red wine keep for after being opened and refrigerated?
I've had an open bottle, re-corked in my fridge for about two and a bit weeks now.
Cheers
have a swig and trust your tastebuds! I've kept red wine refridgerated for weeks and it's been fine.
take a tip from Delia - freeze any leftover wine (???) in ice cube trays and use it for stocks and sauces!0 -
I admire your will power, there is a law in my house that wine needs to be drunk on the day it's opened.
I have never refrigerated red wine either, go on have a small swig and let us know what it tastes like!
You are right about this not being the best place for your post, it should probably be in Old Style so I will move it there, you might get more responses in there.0 -
Thanks for all the replies
I wasn't brave enough to take a swig so its back in its resting place in the fridge for now lol0 -
Sorry I can't be very helpful - wine's never left that long in my house!
