that is just a select few.
Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones then that receive your order in full, on time and with proper correspondence from dealextreme - but is it really a good idea to recommend it to people?
Also, Please beware of cheap r4's, these deals are usually too good to be true and are often counterfeit cards - the cycloDS and AceKard2 are much better choices (there are plenty of review to back this up).
ive place around 35 orders with dealextreme over the past 2 years, and ive had nothing but good service from them. a lot of people on these forums use and recomend them.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

Just wait.
It is christmas, it is busy.
Companies are busy filling a larger number of orders. The postal service is busy - normal first and second class deliveries may take longer than usual.
Royal Mail only guarantees special delivery, not 1st and 2nd class, so if you want it quickly it is much safer to use special delivery.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Yes i paid by debit card. Consoleup double charged my account taking double the money they was meant to! Had no luck contacting them but i spoke to HSBC (my bank) told them what happened and after 3 days HSBC gave me the money consoleup took from me and they are gonna go after the consoleup accounts team and get the money back from them. In all fairness HSBC didnt have to do this for me but it was very nice for them to do what they did so maybe you should give that a go.
STAY AWAY FROM CONSOLE UP THEY WILL SCAM YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!!!!! F;cking COWBOYS!!!!!0 -
the exact same thing happened to me, charging twice
i ordered from them at the start of december, received my order on the 22nd december, opened 3 support tickets, no replies.
contacted my bank who will be chasing them up
i recommend the rest of you do that aswell0 -
I went to my bank (LloydsTSB) and the guy who attended me tolme that they cannot help. I think is just lucky with bank stuffs.
It's more than 1 month since I began chasing consoleup, but nothing. They've stolen me 100 quid.0 -
I bought from them some time in '08, October time I think. I believe it took a while to arrive, but my item did arrive and it was fine.
My friend wanted one so I ordered another from consoleup, this was the 20th Jan. Now, 17 days later, the status is still "Packing". Still busy from xmas time? Maybe they are nice to some first time buyers to gain credit, only to screw us over.
What is also interesting, but not so much fun, is that their site now has NO results when browsing for some of the items. Click on ANY of the categories on the following link to see what I mean: http://www.consoleup.com/games/Nintendo_DS/Media_Cards
Another interesting thing is what the item cost, and what the price of the item is in my order status list. I paid £37 ish for it, but in the listing it shows a "Total" of £46.47. This is quite odd.
Since I am quite interested in fraudulent sites and rip off markets, I will give them their 5 days to respond to my ticket (sent 4th Feb) and will open a Paypal dispute whether or not I get a response.
There should be a site like idk, "google fraud", something like 'digg it' where we can put our thorough responses, but something not so hidden where people have to search specifically. I am sure people would google fraud search companies since google is where everybody goes.
I'll keep posted about my experience with consoleup anyway. Sorry if such a site exists, I am just typing my brain.:D0 -
I opened up a paypal dispute, after checking the order status again. You never know.
The ticket I opened hasn't been replied to.
To my surprise, immediately after submitting the dispute, I looked at my order status on consoleup, only to find it changed from 'Packing' to 'Payment Declined'. They obviously have some reflex script to do this dirty trick.
Also, while trying to log in previously (after I signed up, not sure if the first time logging in), the password I am sure I registered with was not working. After requesting my password, it was a series of random letters. That definitely was NOT my password.0 -
I got a full refund through paypal now. I am not happy with this at all, since they got away with so much !!!!. If I didn't open a paypal dispute then they would have been partying at my expense.
There must be further action that can be taken against consoleup or the guy who runs the so called business. I'll check back for replies, otherwise, this is my experience and I advise you to avoid them like the plague - even if there IS a chance of a swift purchase.:mad:0
