consoleup.com...anyone else had problems

hi
i just wondered if anyone else has had problems buying from consoleup.com as i ordered from them five days ago and the money went out my bank immediatly but i havent heard from them since, and have had no reply to my query... the item i ordered should of been delivered the next day but as there is no phone number on their website and the emails bounce back i cannot contact them..
any advice would be gratefully recieved thanks

Their registered address indicated on their website shows up as Playables Ltd, 57 Bayham Place, LONDON, NW1 0ET on Royal Mail. Playables appear to have a website selling similar items.
Alternative contact details given as: 32 Hayes Court, Camberwell New Road, London, SE5 0TQ. Tel: 44-207-7037764 . This address appears to be residential, is a flat.
Haven't been able to check companies house as down overnight.

I ordered an item 3rd Dec, the money has gone out of my account same day. The web site tracker said still packing even now today 11/12/08. That says it all what a dodgy company.
Please dont touch them, save your money0 -
I have had problems too. I ordered an item on 2 Dec which I paid first class deleivery for and now 11 Dec I have still not had my order. I have tried emailing 3 times but each time the emails have bounced. There is no telephone number to ring up either. On my order tracking it is saying it is in the packing process. Surely if it was out of stock they would of said. I'm starting to think this is some kind of scam.0

Hi, i found this after looking on google for consoleup.com. I'm afraid I'm in the same position, ordered with the promise of same day dispatch. They have taken the money and status of my order is still packing. Opened a ticket and have had no response.
I really regret not researching consoleup before i purchased because it would seem the internet is littered with bad stuff about this site. It seems this is a problem has been going on for over a year and it has already been reported to trading standards several times.0 -
Yes same for me. Ordered Dec 2nd, money has left my account...sharpish, and still nothing has arrived even though the site showed stock.
Used the so called "ticket" system on their website on the Saturday and got a same day reply from an Andrew telling me that there was some confusion on their system then asking me to confirm how I paid, which is strange as they've had the money. I replied to this and since have had no response.
Have raised another "ticket" again with no response. Strange as it is, when I send these tickets or my repsonses they are met with them being undelivered.
Have since done some homework on this outfit and the web is littered with complaints about this company. I managed to get a direct email address for this Andrew guy, have sent two emails with out a repsonse.
I can't even send tickets from the work PC as there are now errors on their web page. Tried from home last night with succes however. As soon as I posted I got an immediate reply:

Its now been 8 business days so they must be too busy ripping everyone else off. A work mate recommended these and is sorry he did as someone else I work with haven't received anything too!

I have found several email address and none of them seem to work (or certainly no one replys to them) I also found a phone number which is 02077037764. This however, constantly rings out. There is also postal address for them but apparently it is only run by a couple of people, I doubt they take written letters of complaint anymore seriously than all the emails they must be getting.
I think it depends how you paid. If you paid by credit card it might be eaiser to try and claim the money off the credit card company. I couldn't even get the support ticket for a refund to open correctly. I paid using paypal and have opened a dispute with them today so hopefully i'll get my money back one way or the other.
It's such a pain. I could realy do with the money back quickly, it being christmas and all.0 -
I hope I am wrong but alarm bells ring as soon as I checked the domain name
I do hope I am wrong and people get there goods if not hope you paid by credit card or Visa delta debit card

well i finally got my goods today... i had given up hope of recieving anything at all.. their communication is dire and i certainly will never use or recommend them again..
i hope every one else gets the things they have ordered too.. please let us knowreach for the moon because even if you miss you will still be a star!0
