I ordered my R4 SDHC, from them on the 10th of December.

Since then it's status still remains at Packing.

It's now the 14th of December, and i am starting to think will the product i ordered arrive before Christmas and even arrive at all.

I payed £37, for the product and postage in total choosing standard delivery taking 2-3 working days. I am aware it's not been 2-3 working days since i have ordered, but i would expect it to atleast change status from "Packing" and consoleup to reply to my e-mail's and support tickets. I would be able to cope if the product was for me, but it's for my Son's Christmas Present along with his Nintendo DS thank god, i ordered that from Amazon. The last lady seem to of had to wait around 8 days so i am hoping it will be here by the 18th of December at the latest. The thing which has got me more worried, is when i ordered the item was in stock and ready to dispatch in 24hrs. But since then, around the 12th the item is out of stock so i am hoping i did not fall into the out of stock "group" and that i will get my product before the 18th.

I ordered on the 9th and still no luck still packing, I ordered about a year ago and it did take a while to come but it did come so hopefully its just a communication error eh? Ill keep you updated

i ordered some staff on the 5th of December 2008 and i am still waiting for it.

i liked to believe that the goods will come soon but i am afraid that's not going to append.
i wanted to check where they are and surprisingly i found out that the address is exactly the same for Coles.
Address of Console Up : 57 Bayham Place, London, NW1 0ET
Address of Coles : the same

That's strange, isn't it ?

I will tell you if my 73 euros paid by card was worth it to spend with them.;)

The items i ordered have still not arrived, and i have honestly given up hope.

They ship worldwide, and p&p is 100% free.

All of the items, are extremely cheap and i personally find them extremely reliable.
They also have a contact number which does work, and they answer e-mails.

For example

R4 DS costs £14.49 from consoleup.com "If you ever recieve your item."

R4 DS costs £5.74 "$8.78" from dealextreme.com

Dealextreme, even tell you when your product will ship. It takes around a week, to the item to arrive which is quite fast seeming it's coming from the uk.

I just want people to check them out, and keep them in mind for the future.

I hope i wont have to order a second time the articles all ready ordered from consoleup but if they don't come then i will use the one you advice us.

Just thought i'd let you know, they finally refunded my money today through paypal before it reached a dispute. I suppose its in their interest not get into too many disputes with paypal customers or they might lose use of their account.

I think if i had waited long enough the goods would have arrived but since they were advertising same day dispatch i wasn't prepaired to wait over a week while the item was "packing".

On another note i ordered cyclods from pcjerry.co.uk instead and it was the complete oposite. Speedy response to emails, quick dispatch and good price. I would recommend. To anyone who manages to get their money back.

blackconverse, you recommend dealextreme as a reliable company to buy from, however if you google this company you will find that there are many more negative reports of this company than there are of consoleup. Take a look;

Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones then that receive your order in full, on time and with proper correspondence from dealextreme - but is it really a good idea to recommend it to people?
Also, Please beware of cheap r4's, these deals are usually too good to be true and are often counterfeit cards - the cycloDS and AceKard2 are much better choices (there are plenty of review to back this up).

I have ordered two items from consoleup (yesterday) and I have paid for special delivery (has anyone else chosen special delivery option?), I don't know yet whether I will experience problems but after reading these threads I am obviously a bit worried now (i wish I had found the threads before I placed my order - silly me - I will in future) but i will surely give them a chance to fulfill the order before I start complaining. As well as complaints, I have also found positive threads about consoleup - I will wait to see which camp I fall in to, fingers crossed I won't have problems - I will let you know!

Your extremely unlucky, I ordered my items on the 10th of December and still nothing. Some people chose next day, and there items have not arrived yet.

Dealextreme are really good, there site is full of positive reviews.

There cheap because the $ is rather weak, and just because somthing is cheap does not mean it's fake. They even state they check all cards to make sure they are real.
Yes, they may sell fake cards but am prety sure they do state that they are not the orignial R4 cards. R4 is shut down, so eventually they will no longer be on the market.

I had to buy a DSTT, from amazon which i ordered yesterday, and is arriving tomorrow. Your R4's will not come for Christmas i can promise you that.

If i were you i would ask them to cancel your order, or somehow get your money back. I would then place an order with Amazon, the DSTT is only £17.99 and you can get a 2GB Micro SD card for £1.66

Of course, there's nothing to stop the owners of the site posting their own fake reviews or removing negative ones.

Far more significant is the general concensus of users on a site over which dealextreme have no control.
