Just an update;
The status of my order for two AceKard2's (that I ordered late last night) from consoleup has gone from 'payment accepted' this morning to 'packing' at 2pm and then 'shipped' at 3.30pm today. I chose the next day special delivery option for a couple of extra pounds - it looks like it was a good idea, but I won't count my chickens until they come through my letterbox!!
blackconverse, would you still like to promise me that my order will not come before christmas? Shall we wager on it? If you ordered yours on the 10th of this month, that is only 5 working days - I am guessing you did not choose the special delivery option and instead went for the cheapest post option? As a previous employee of Royal Mail I know that not only is the postal system at its busiest this time of year, but all companies internal dispatch/post rooms are at their busiest also, deliveries may take longer. So, although you recommend dealexteme.com, you have actually ordered your goods from amazon? Is it on Amazon that |I can find a 2gb MicroSD for £1.66 (genuine question)?

bigbrummygirl started this thread on the 9th of dec because her order her was placed on the 4th of Dec and hadn't been received 5 days later (that is 3 working days). Then on the 12th she says she 'finally received' her items - a shocking 6 working days later! 6 days is hardly a terribly long wait - especially if the cheapest posting option was used - the company is obviously going to fulfill special delivery items first, and at this time of year when everyone is busy, of course it is going to take a bit longer than usual - it is christmas!! I'm sure the only reason bigbrummygirl had 'given up hope' of ever getting anything was because she had read some other scaremongering posts in other forums.
This consumer hysteria is ridiculous - of course we should be responsible with our money, but also with our mouths! one person has a bad experience with a company and everyone jumps on the bandwagon before they even know what is going on.

It is christmas, it is busy.
Companies are busy filling a larger number of orders. The postal service is busy - normal first and second class deliveries may take longer than usual.
Royal Mail only guarantees special delivery, not 1st and 2nd class, so if you want it quickly it is much safer to use special delivery.
my latest news is that
consoleup have now given me the 'track and trace' number for my special delivery, I have checked it and royal mail say they have recieved my items and they are in the delivery office awaiting delivery tomorrow.0 -
I never had a problem with them when purchasing my cyclo evo0

that's good and reassuring. Snappersnap is right and we are to much excited because it's xmas and we want it now and quick.
I will wait and wont say that consuleup is not fulfilling they engagement with the deliveries.

I received all my items, in full, this morning as promised from consoleup. No problems whatsoever. I would use the company again without a doubt (but will always use special delivery).

I don't think this is just consumer hysteria. If you look at some of the threads posted earlier on different forums there are people who have waited literally months without receiving any correspondence or what they ordered. This is also spread out over the last 2 years so there's no excuse of Christmas slowing things down.
I think what is more likely is that consoleup just advertise cards as in stock to maximise the orders they receive, if it is in stock then great, but if it isn't they just take the money and because the customer cannot get a reply to the support tickets they are forced to wait for the card to come into stock and for it to be posted.
I think the bottom line here is that I ordered a card which was described as in stock and also shown as same day dispatch and after two weeks of emailing I hear nothing and receive nothing.
PCJerry.co.uk on the other hand advertised that my item could take 6 days to arrive and yet I ordered it Monday morning it was dispatched Monday afternoon and I received it Tuesday morning.0 -
Yes Sanderz, I think you are probably right - it has happened to me with other companies that have taken my order saying items were available when they were actually out of stock.
PCJerry looks like a good site too, very cheap and has a lot of positive reviews., I will definitely consider using them in future.0 -

I will recommend ConsoleUp to my friends. No trouble at all.
It took 5 working days to arrived (if Saturday is really a working day) and i live in France.

Hope everyone will be served like i was and everyone will stop to worry. Few unhappy customers and the psychoses take place in our mind.

Wel heres my little disaster.
Order made on December the 1st, paid for Next Day delivery, payment taken straight away, after a week nothing, sent message to support received reply saying they couldnt find order and requested all the info! Sent this back to them heard nothing again for a week then got a reply on Monday 15th saying they found order and it would be sent Next Day STILL WAITING!!!!
The thing is, its not even my money or items so as you can imagine the person I ordered it for are starting to wonder about me.
I also used Maestro Debit card BIG MISTAKE as I cannot even do a chargeback!
So its just a case of pestering the life out of them until this is sorted, ruins my Christmas if they dont come though as the cards ordered were for the persons children!
