It's all round KT's, dance in the cupboard and not use the dodgy loo  Oh and watch out for the contents of Fay's freezer and make sure hamster stays clothed

'course you can join in the overlap! you're already down as a bridesmaid... and you'll be doing the weekend shift of caring for hamster...you need to be careful of Fay's freezer though...
...but hamster, I am making sure everyone looks after you, we're taking turns of custody rights. And that includes making sure you wear a vest at all times. You will always have a mad woman looking after you. Who could ask for more?Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

It's the quiet time of the month financially, all the direct debits have long since fled my account, leaving the bare bones of very little! I've paid £25.11 across to the card, still have money in my account, but I'm nervous about clearing it out this far away from payday! So I'll move it three days before, just to have emergency funds readily available.
I played with the snowball calculator and posted several versions into my spreadsheet. If I was to pay just the minimum payments the card would clear in December 2010 and the other cards would clear in February 2012. However, if I overpay by £250 the card would clear in September this year!!! and the others in January 2011. Interesting stuff huh??
Well, yesterday, we worked out it could be done, so with the lodger money and the money I've saved I'm aiming for £300 a month overpayment. Naturally, this is the snowball figure I didn't input...:o
This plan only works out if I stay employed though, I've been asked to analyse headcount costs and work costs, so it's not looking promising.
But until it happens, I will throw every penny at the card. The fear factor is making it so easy to have one nsd after another. Hopefully, giving me a little more each week to put against the card.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

It is soooo tempting to pay everything onto one card, then the realisation hits that you need money for petrol and food etc. Actually our budget would be great if we didn't have to eat!

Wooooooo hoooooo to Sept 09 - Piq go you girl well done to you - quite a committment but I am sure you will do it.
I am thinking (personally) that if you can do it and you think you can manage all those NSD's all the better.
