What a read to catch up on.
I'll admit, I did spend on my card. Not as much as I thought I'd need to. I still feel like a failure for doing it though. I'm so happy for all the people who didn't use a card this year. I'll be on that list next year.
Well done you! it all seems to be going very well.
Here's to 2009!

Have spent a tenner on a pub crawl on the horse today, fantastic fun, even if we did gallop instead of crawl. The captain drank real ale and I had cider :T He looked amazing in reindeer antlers and flashing tail lights! I just had a red nose...
Went over budget on the food shop, but it wasn't my fault, a bottle of half price prosecco jumped in my trolley, followed by 5 of his matesyou know the deal an extra 5% for six bottles....

Forgot to say!! Great news regarding the break down cover, its usually the way that the more loyal you are as a customer the more you get taken for a ride. Good for you for not putting up with it.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Just a brief entry, just to make sure I don't lapse really. Have done the scratch cards, I'm actually up to 19.60 on one of them, I'll take it to just over the 20 and fling it at the card I think. Nice easy money all I have to do is find 3 yellow fish....
Have updated the spreadsheet and I'm ready to tackle the new year, January will be tough, hopefully not impossible though!
...and have had another nsd, am hoping to manage not spend at all next week. Will also live out of the store cupboard and fridge, there is plenty of food there, so I'm aiming not to do a food shop until next weekend! Saying that I'm not sure about the soap powder situation, I'll go and check....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
