  • DD,
I'm another one firmly in the childmider camp-I love mine-she is so excellent with the kids and the other ones she look after are all firm friends with my 2-and it's continuty-she will look after them until they go to big school as she picks them up from school etc so DD has been with her nearly 6 years and will still be with her til she is 11. I think they get enough 'structure' when they go to nursery at 3-poor DS is just getting used to all the kids, and having to do 'this now'

My DS went to a nursery and loved it, you can get bad nurseries and bad childminders but it's best to do what suits the child and mine was a sociable wee soul who loved nursery but I know someone who moved her child from the same place because she was unhappy and she was happier with a CM. Anyway enough of this...has Bunny dyed her hair yet?

it did sound a particularly dark shade you'd chosen Bunny, but I'm sure you'll look glam as always.

shi!t. Just had a text from my mum to say my dad is in hospital. Apparently he came off his bike on some ice, has torn the tendon in his knee and will be operated on tomorrow. He is a milkman so that is going to cause all sorts of chaos. He works around 20 hours a day in the week before Christmas.

A blessing though perhaps as he is retiring in February, he already has a very damaged knee and is having difficulty walking and they had said he needed an op. but he couldn't take the time off. I hope in a way it is that knee as he has suffered progressively over the years as this forces him to sort it.

  • Lol! It needs to be dark to cover up the canary yellow...It will be ok Im sure.

I do this periodically! Last time I was really dark was when I had DS, looked a wee bit dramatic. I would actually love red hair but I just dont suit it-if you watch 'Mythbusters' that is how I would love my hair! Funky red! Maybe I will do that....scaaaaaaary!

I'd like really red hair too but I'm waiting till it all goes grey and I HAVE to dye it! for now something that covers the grey and doesn't take much maintenance will do.

BB, sorry about your dad, hope everything goes ok tomorrow.
