I just gave myself the ultimate spa treatment as described earlier in the day!
The Body Shop Shea sugar scrub (left over from when I used to do the parties last year!)
scrubbed into dry skin using firm massaging, especially over any 'problem' areas. You can really feel the scrubbing and boost to your circulation.
My skin was just drinking in the pure Shea butter at the same time so after a few minutes it had been all absorbed and the dry sugar was dropping off into the bath!
My skin feels GORGEOUS now and it got me thinking about a really special present for Christmas for any ladies/girlfriends you have.
It'll cost about £20 (could be less if you shop carefully! If you have 3 girl friends to shop for take advantage of 3 for 2 offers! If you are giving these to a few friends , vary the contants of each pack so they can see that you've really thought about them as a person and the things they like! It'll be REALLY personal and special.
Purchase a scrub and body butter set from The Body Shop, Boots even the supermarket...whichever your friend likes! (does not have to be pensive!)
Then buy one of Primark's gorgeously thick and long towelling robes for £8
and a bottle of Griffith Park sparkling Rose from Tesco (£3.50) HIGHLY RATED DURING INDUSTRY TESTS RECENTLY!!! - My sis is a wine rep!
Boots do disposable shower caps which might go well too.
Wrap it all up beatifully E.G in floristry wrapping and include a handwritten note telling them that your gift to them is the gift of spa!
Describe how to use the products like I did earlier using tempting and sumptuous words, make it personal to them .
You could add or omit things depending on your friend's taste...
E.G. leave out the vino for someone who doesn't drink and include a lovely magazine/ nail polish, a really nice scented candle, camomile tea bags or an inexpensive book instead... even a pair of inexpensive spa type slippers or flip flops from Primark!

Was very icy up at home today apparently, OH slipped on the road and her mate managed to catch her :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi all
I haven't been on for a few days, how is everyone?
BB sorry to hear about your dad. I hope things go well.
Just 13 days till I pick up OH from Stanstead, unless the bloomin protesters gather again! I must admit if he had been arriving yesterday & his flight was cancelled, I would have throttled someone!
Had a car accident on Sunday evening cos' of the stupid ice. Everything aches down the right side. Car surprisingly ok. made by french peasants for french peasant driving. DS no2 was a bit shook up but had an adventure to share at school!
Hi Rugbymum I bet you cant wait to see OH:D
Sorry to hear about your car accident, hope your aches and pains go away soon xx

I love the 'Naked' shampoos and conditioners - they leave my hair uber shiny!

...What leaves your hair shiny Lenny?

RugbyMum, sorry to hear about your bump, was anyone else involved?
BB, your poor mum and dad, hope everything goes ok for his op. :kisses:
I found a gorgeous blue/black hair colour in Boots.....and now they've stopped stocking it. It was one of the arty/farty hairdressers  the colour was Liquorice
But, like the red colours, it does keep coming off on my white towels, looks like I've spilt a bottle of ink.
Linda, what a lovely idea for a gift.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
