I have a child free house:D and I have cooked a roast chicken for dinner.
Do you think I should get some candles out and set the dining room table nicely OR sit in the kitchen like we usually do:cool:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

And speaking of OH his mum just emailed to say his dog is really ill so he has gone over there, probably to say goodbye
Hi DD
I am studying for my chartered accountancy exams...
All my children have been to the same childminder over the years. She is retiring next year, but she is 'nanny' to all my kids..I have no family nearby and she is great. I used a nursery when i first moved to the midlands but i found it really difficult to leave my kids in a room full of other kids.
My childminder has other children and chloe loves going there every day. I have been very very very lucky and if anyone else ever finds a childminder like mine they should snap them up quickly..
sorry if that confuses you even more DD, but I am firmly in the childminder camp.
Although when I was young my mum hired some horrendous childminders for me.......but i think my mother has no sense when it comes to people:rotfl:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

i was supposed to be having roast chicken for dinner but it hasnt defrosted:rolleyes:
DD sorry to hear about the pooch
As regards Elliot, only you can decide but he may get more 1-1 attention with a childminder, but nurseries tend to be more structured with regards to learning:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
