Glad you reached a conclusion that makes YOU happy.
How is the house these days now with cleaners?
Are you busy on Sat afternoon by any chance?

LOL, well its cleaner, but it does take an effort to keep it that way for the cleaners...IYSWIM..
Not sure about Saturday, what did you have in mind...whatever it is I have to do it with OH as I have been neglecting him of late.....:oQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Afternoon all, sounds like everyone has been busy. Sammy glad you have finally finished and you can relax a bit now.
Maz, trying to get the photo sorted...will be as quick as I can
God Im so tired and the house is a tip again and the ironing pile has seriously taken over the bedroom and its depressing me. Must make a start on it tonight, then go to tesco, then write christmas cards, hoover and clean bathroom. Think I might be tired tonight!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Have I mentioned how much I'm missing having a car? Walking to girls to and from nursery everyday is going to end up giving my hypothermia!!!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I know how you feel IA, Ive done without a car for the last 18 months, me and DD walk or cycle everywhere. Its amazing how they build up their ability to walk distance although the winging in this cold weather is worse

bank_of_slate wrote: »Top tip for exfoliating...
Stand naked (but dry) in the bath or shower
Use the exfoliating gel/scrub whatever it is on DRY skin, working it in with your fingers to massage it all over.
Shower the stuff off well..
and THEN have your relaxing soak with your lovely oils and such.
You will have already shed the dead skin during the exfoliation and your skin will soak up all the lovely moisturising bath oil/bubbles that you add to the bath.
You will notice if you use this method
1, Feels like a proper spa treatment
2, skin is left unbelievably soft
3, your scrub lasts a lot longer so it's MSE proof too!
Try it and let me know what you think!
...Linda xx
Ooh thanks for that Linda, makes so much sense! Why didn't I think of it
mmmm that's made me really want a bath, these days it is more like being dipped briefly into warm water
I am going to plan a proper pampering session this weekend while OH takes DS over to his parents. :cool:No I didn't postpone in the end....the minute I gave myself a break I kind of felt better about it.....
However, that is not to say between now and the june exams I HAVE to get some kind of perspective and a better revision technique AND some therapy on how to deal with exams...I honestly have nearly given myself a nervous breakdown about the exams, and its not really about the content its more about my mental attitude.
Its almost like I think I will fail, so I almost do everything in my power to make myself fail...self full filling prophecy and all that....its taken me years to figure out that I do it to myself...
Sammy what are you studying for? sorry

I've just been to visit a childminder and now I feel even more confused about what I want for Elliot - she was great, really lovely, and has not put me off or anything, it's just the reality of using a CM would be quite different. I don't know what's for the best.
And speaking of OH his mum just emailed to say his dog is really ill so he has gone over there, probably to say goodbye

Go with what you feel most comfortable with, you will know which is the right thing for you when you find it.
So sad about OH dog.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Oh poor OH and his dog... it's horrible innit...
re child minder... as long as they have other kids too it can be a great environment for really young kids. If you don't think Elliot likes nursery then it's worth moving him, but you might encounter problems again when you put him into his proper nursery school for his 2.5hours later... better now and he'll get over it soon, or later?
although if you feel positive about this one, then go with your instincts, she sounds like a good catch!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
