You're welcome EL ...the same thing happened to me and I'd posted it on my diary and somebody suggested a podiatrist. It has really changed my life.It has actually believe it or not pulled my knee back into shape as well....they are really pleased with my progress and noboady knows it's there. The other thing the podiatrist discovered was that when I stood with my feet flat on the floor facing forwards ..the insides of my feet leaning inwards so they saw to that as well...no wonder evetrything was out of line!!!!

I bet a lot of men have the same problem as they usually wear flat shoes(the worst thing for your feet by the way)
The podiatrist says I have to wear trainers (not flat but like the running ones as they have a wedge....whereas say reebok classics are flat IYSWIMor if wearing shoes to wear wedges).
I just have to take the insole out of my shoes and put them in whatever pair I wear..so simple to an aonising problem that I suffered for years on end..I wasn't took serious as I was overweight!!!!

Sounds like the totally right deciscion...we have to get some balance in life!!!!!

The pressures can be too much sometimes and something has to give.I can't wait until we've get rid of our debt as then we can go on 5 days a week and live comfortably.

isnt it amazing how just a short 50 or so years ago one person worked in the house and we managed ...then slowly one worked full time and one part time for pin money ...life's wee extras ...then gradually two people worked full time just so thy could have more of the extras like holidays or cars ...then a wee bit of overtime got added in to the mix ...overtime made life that wee bit easier when we wernt working we could go shopping we could decorate we could buy more things ...now we are at the stage were both need to be working full time and doing overtime just so that we can pay the debt and survive ...we have gave up our leisure time just so that we can survive ..our health suffers our marriage suffers and the kids well they are passed from childminder (if we can afford them) to granny to aunty (if we have them) and we start to feel so guilty cause we dont get to spend time with them ...so we buy them things ...play stations x boxes ...all of which we have to put on credit and have to work overtime for to pay ...and the vicious cycle gets more and more vicious and we struggle and struggle to try and make ends meet ...and we go to work when we arnt well because the rights of the worker have slowly been eroded away ...gone are the time and a half for a saturday ...gone is the double time for sunday ...what do you mean shift allowance ..and sick pay eh you get ssp that should be enough ..( i have had sick pay taken off me in the last few months) and why do you need all those holidays ..we only have to give you a minimum of blah blah blah so that is all your getting ( i have also lost four days holidays in the last two years) ...and we put up with it because we need the money ...and if we complain well someone else will do it so we are scared to complain ...and something happens and we cant pay a bill ...and before we know it we have had to borrow more or it has went past that stage and we have dcas at our door or we loose our house ...

....and then when we eventually see the light we find places like mse that help us get out of debt that help support others going through the same thing...and slowly we learn the things that are important( i will get there soon honest ) ...and we start to rejoice in the things that years before we took for granted ...things like i cant wait to work a five day week ...and you know i am sitting here thinking i would love to work a five day week ...that is some goal to go for ...that is so gonna be hard to do but so worth it ...and i bet when you get that five day week back ..you wont give it up without a fight
