time to stop messing around

I have told you before, El, and I will tell you again if I have too (ooh, the bossy mum in me is making an appearance) that you HAVE to put yourself first from time to time.

I know it is nice to help out, in whatever way you can.....but if you don't or can't, then 99 times out of 100, those people will manage for just a little while longer! You KNOW that if you are truly NEEDED, you will be there in whatever way you possibly can be.

oo spooky, or what? I echo that sentiment, you do need time for yourself as otherwise it becomes far too overwhelming and you have a lot of pressures on re Uni and getting business going, not to mention two jobs...Yep no one could call you a slacker El and something has to give somewhere, so it is sensible putting yourself first for a change. x

in this case hypno i dont think there is any more i can do to be honest ...i think it is time for the professionals a few of have told this person this now but the person seems to want me ...and i cant do it anymore for them ....that didnt go down well as i am sure you can understand ...but it is the way it has to be...you are totally right i have to put myself first ..as painful as that is for me ...i am so good at telling others to put themselves first ...but somehow forget about me ...i am good at that one lol ...but this time i have put my foot down ...i will be there when and if i can but i can no longer watch someone self destruct and try and stop it ...if the person wants to self destruct so much then who am i to stop them .....

You can't save the world. First priority is saving yourself, then others on a case-by-case basis.

you are ofcourse totally right z ...have to admit i have been keeping my distance since monday and i feel so much better for it.....i feel alot less stressed ...it's funny how you dont realise the stress till it's lifted

oooooo know how i do some red cross volunteering ...well we just got an email through looking for people to do the AC/DC gig ...we tried to get tickets for this but no chance ...so i am keeping my fingers crossed we get picked ...that T in the park rockness and the eagles would do us nicely ....there was take that and cold play as well but somehow i managed not to put my name forward for them lol ..slip of the finger lol
