so whilst i wouldntve packed it in cause it is easy money i wouldve moaned the whole way through ...this way the choice is taken outa my hands ...i like that ...
Doesn't sound too bad, I know what you mean though - sometimes it's easier to stick with the same old, same old than to give it up. Hopefully it will work out ok in the end.

Sorry to hear about Mr El....physio can hurt sometimes..he's maybe moving muscles that have locked.Believe it or not Pilates is one of the best exercises for his back as the movements are done very slowly and you only go as far as your body lets you.I feel for him in a great deal of pain.Has he had x rays or scans?0

taxi i am sure it will thanks...and if it takes it's time i am fine with that as well ...i truthfully think i could do with a break ....i have worked long long hours and shift work now non stop for over 14 years some weeks i can work 70 plus hours ...one week i worked 110 ..yes thats right 110 hours that isnt human...i am physically tired ...and i havnt looked after my health for years due to the hours and shifts worked...
and whilst we still have the wages coming in we spend money we dont need to ...maybe this way we will cut back ..and start to look at the real important things ....dont know how hubby will feel about not getting any of his toys anymore though lol0 -

he did do pilates for a while ...but work got in the way and we had to stop going ...he has now had several x-rays and an mri scan ...the mri scan showed no mechanical damage ...although today the physio said that he reckons there is mechanical damage the mri scan wouldntve picked up due to the angle of the scan (or something) he also told him his pelvis is twisted and he has one leg shorter than the other ...now he has been told this several times by different people ...i dont know if that is caused by work or not for him
maybe this way we can get back to classes ...i am feeling happier about this the more i think about it lol0 -
I'm surprised you aren't seriously ill!!!!!
110 hours a week ...that's ridiculous....if he can't have his toys ..he can't have them.No good killing yourself.
Sounds like you're glad the job is going and that you can manage without it anyway.
Think you seriously need some down time ....once you've lost your health it's hard to get back again.0 -
you are totally right ...and i think that is why i am relieved ...this way the decision is taken out of my hands .....so i cant feel guilty about not paying the debt off as quickly as i would like or not having money for extras lol ...we can survive of that i have no doubt ...but maybe both of us need to take it easier ...maybe this way i can get healthier again ...maybe actually do my garden like i have desperately wanted to but not had time to for years ....you know this is starting to feel good lol ...welcome to mse the feel good factor in life ...where you can put things down on paper (well you know what i mean) and come to some important understandings ...wow cathartic or what lol0

El ..please go to your DR and ask him to refer you to a podiatrist....I have osteo arthritis in my spine and hips caused by one leg being shorter than the other.
They built an instep that goes in my shoes (just like a proper trainer insole) and hey presto I no longer have the aches and pains..it was like a miracle cure after suffering...26 years with excruciating back pain on/off.
It took some getting used to but I now feel the difference if I put a really flat pair of shoes on without the instep in.
Please please do it...best thing I ever did.
Sorry that's meant to say refer MR EL ...0 -
taxi i wish i could jump over and kiss you i wouldve never have thought of that ...that might make a huge huge difference to him ...thank you thankyou thankyou....i cant understand why i didnt think of that i know someone that has one as well and it really helps ...cheers0

Sounds like the totally right deciscion...we have to get some balance in life!!!!!
The pressures can be too much sometimes and something has to give.I can't wait until we've get rid of our debt as then we can go on 5 days a week and live comfortably.0 -
have just told mr el (he is still in the bath trying to soak his bones) he actually got excited there (no not like that lol) and has made me write it down ...he is going to the dr next week and will bring it up ...he is also going back to physio next month (yes that was the first appointment he could get ...ven the physio was going nuts about that) and says he will bring it to his attention as well ...cheers taxi ...youve made a man in agony that see's no recovery think that just maybe something might work0
