Its fine with cats, justifyable with dogs. When you find your OH calling his horse his 'Big, sweet Baby-oh' as he brushes her you wonder if you haven't taken this animals instead of babies thing a bit too seriously.

Couples are families. A family unit of two. Two + hound definitely gets you in to that category.

I'm not convinced... maybe if you came to live as our Aunty, together we'd be a socially and politically acceptible family....

If he suggests moving to US, the game's up: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CXEXbCuqwfA

House prices in the US are still falling. They're nowhere near the bottom. Ths new board is good because we can discuss the whole local and global economy as they affect house prices.

Texas, big horse owning area probably, has started to see some price reductions, but they will become more widespread, so picking up some land for horses in Texas will be cheaper in 2009/2012.

No I think that would make one of the three of you a carer. They get less than anyone else DESPITE bing part of a hardworking family.

If you can offer me a self-contained annexe, the deal's on. And a parking space.

I have to confess I was so fed up with the butchery of this board yesterday that I actually decamped to the Housepricecrash website. :o For the first time ever. :o Hang my head in shame.... :o:o:o

But over there I discovered that they have a whole board called 'The Economy', and I though what a great idea and why can't we have one of these on MSE...?...?...

Then blow me down, I enter the site today and we have an 'Economy' board all of our own!!
:j :j :j

Brilliant move (and very sensible) - thank you Martin et al.

:T :T :T

(By the way, Housepricecrash was rubbish, not a patch on MSE, I didn't want to stay there very long...)

The parking space I can do - as for the annexe, if by that you mean your very own portion of the 10'x7' room which already quadruples up as the guestroom/my studio/the laundry room/the store room/mr.P's music room then get in... we got ourselves a FAMILY

Thread in this board discussing board guides.

I have deleted the thread. I will not have discussion of individuals in that way on the forum. Hopefully that will be the end of it. As said before, if you have an issue with a board guide, report it to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com where it will be looked at.

If people can't abide by that ruling then please do not post on the site. If you continue not to follow this then unfortunately I will ask my team to suspend your posting priviledges. I had already explained this in the above post... so there was no need for another thread on it.

The way some of my hard working volunteers have been abused over something very minor is a disgrace and doesn't become anyone.

Martin

PS I have PERSONALLY deleted all the other threads relating to this. Let me make it simple, tempers are running high (unnecessarily in many cases) and so the rule for the moment is this. If you can't say something nice, or something about the subject of this board... don't say it. It'll be deleted anyway.

Hopefully we can get on with discussing the subject not the subject of the discussion.
