What the politicians don't realise is that everyone's really sick of hearing this particular 'glittering generality'

I think it's wombats where the males grow poison spurs on their hind legs in the mating season to see off the competition mid thrust. The younger Generalissimo is 2 now so it might be time for another soon. Don't walk behind me!

Alternatively you and the mrs can give up the exhibitionism and actually use a bedroom where there is little danger of being "disturbed" ;)

It's an in joke with an increasing number of people on many websites/boards. The Gumment are always banging on about hard-working families.... which annoys us hard-working singles.

    Anyway, back on topic...

This is like a win-win situation for this board - the scope has been widened, awareness of the board and everyone here has been heightened. I'm struggling to see any sort of downside actually.

The US has officially been in recession since December 2007.
We've officially been in recession, but the word buried, for a few weeks now.

    Anyway, the recession's old news.

Now, about the Big Depression of 2010. Does that get its own Board?

Couples are families. A family unit of two. Two + hound definitely gets you in to that category.
