not a great name for the board.

what will happen to this board when the country is longer in a Recession - will it be renamed?

    thanks by the way.

Yes and (while Im not promissing) I guess it'll be called "House Prices & the Economy" ;)

I don't think there's any need for this attempt to claim a victory.

No victory claimed, our posts haven't been moved back yet!

P.S. you could just walk away now, but for some unknown reason you're still poking at the hornets nest?? Why?

What Martin added to the first post was the caution that people who can't behave will have their posting privileges removed

    What's revisionist?

The original post was changed wholesale. For a start it appeared to be hastily put together as the syntax was all over the place.

Sanity at last. It was a logical change and expected it. Board guides can't pre-empt changes and so had no choice but to suffer the onslaught. Let this be an end to the nastiness.

And I don't see why anyone can't edit posts if they feel its necessary. Be they martin or anyone else. That's why the functionality is there.

On the point of backing down or not. I really prefer we dont go down that road.

Frankly I hadnt seen any of this until this morning. I liked the suggestion of widening the board remit and did it; the fact that it also provided a solution for some of the unpleasantness was an added bonus.

As for recriminations; why on earth would I want those. I want a smooth running board that people enjoy, learn from, and helps them. And my board guides and teh MSE team tend to do a great job at it; sometimes we hit understandable friction and then my job is to see whether there is an innate problem that i can solve or its just normal human interaction issues!

Martin is probably a little like me....post something, read it through, think "Oh dear, I wanted to say this as well", go back and edit, come out, read through again and go through the whole process again.

And then finally when I have done all that, I notice a spelling mistake and go back in and edit again!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

You may get a thrill out of these assertions about the man's literacy, but actually only one paragraph was changed
