Have so far today managed not to spend, but i have managed to pay another £60 off Next:D, used savings, quidco money and GMT cheque and added £3.25 from current account to make it a nice round number, but i think that this will be it now untill i get paid.

Day 8Quiet day today, not spent a penny today so thats good, no bills have landed on the doorstep, was a bit disappointed really kinda feels good when i get a bill now and see my debt slowly coming down (or maybe i'm a bit sad)Have felt really down today though and had to resist spending lots online as kept browsing the sales, really would like a new sofa it's 8 years old and had 2 children using it as a trampoline and DS even went through a stage of if he could get his hands on apen would be drawing on it, and leather is wearing, so have decided once debts are paid off i will save yes save for a new sofa. Can't stop eating today think i must be pre-menstruel sp, so far today have managed to eat 2 slices of toast with thick butter, piece christmas cake, packet of crisps, ham sandwich, packet shortbread,2 satsumas, half box milk tray, 2 ring donuts and 2 sausage rolls, oh my god cannot believe that seeing it all written down i'm such a pig.hopefully have more to report tommorrowtake care miemie0

Day 9
Busy day at work today, could'nt get my backside out of bed this morning so ended up buying lunch £3.05 for a turkey salad roll and a yoghurt, borrowed some fruit from work for snack.
Recieved a cheque for £20 from My shopping rewards, so will pay this in monday and when cleared pay it off Next account:D
Kiddies have come home from school today and between them have 3 party invitations for next weekend:eek: so will have to go buying gifts, think i will use gift vouchers for this.
Have made menu plan for the week
Sat- tea at Mum in laws
Sun - Rst Lamb, Rst pots, stuffing and veg
Mon - Chicken kiev Jkt pots and veg
Tue - soup or beans on toast
Wed - Lasagne
Thurs - Stk pie chip and peas
Fri - Turkey meatballs, korma sauce and rice.
again puddings will be homemade cake, fruit or icecream, still trying to eat as much out of the stores as possible, will need to go shopping over the weekend as need fruit, veg, bread and sandwich meat, might send hubby with a shopping list as he's better at resisting all those tempting goodies.
so todays finances stand at
Current account £92.75
Purse £1.00
M&S vouchers £20
Argos £10
Oh rags i soooooo want a new sofa, but i know i must wait, hubby has been talking about going on holiday at the end of the summer, he's wanting to save until then and get something last minute as he reckons that there might be some good deals around, all the more reason to pay off this debt as i would love a beach holiday and some quality family time and hav'nt had one since our honeymoon in 2001 but will have to wait and see, i feel so uneasy spending money when the economy is how it is and so many people are losing their jobs, so the sofa will have to wait.
Take care miemie0 -
Also forgot i had a phone call last night from one of the company's i do surveys for asking me if i would like to do the scanning thing (can't remember what it's called) where you recieve a machine and scan all your shopping and recieve gift vouches for doing so, so should recieve scanner next week, might be fun.0

Hi miemie! How does that shopping end up in the trolley????
I have stopped taking my OH shopping as he has a habit of "oh, that looks nice", or "we haven't had that for a while!" Much better on my own. I make a list and stick to it..... apart from when I see thing's that we do need and I have just forgotten to write down!! doh!
Sounds like you are sorted on the present front though!! And that in itself deserves a round of applause!!! (clap, clap, clap!! lol)
Have a great weekend and don't beat yourself u too much - it's done and dusted, bear it in mind for next weeks shop though!!!
Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!0
