Well it works for me, and I have been doing it quite a while now. Still got a lot of squares to colour in though, but it gives me great satisfaction when I am able to get my colouring pencils out!

I'm still doing my squares! I made a grid of 400 squares in excel, £25 a square, representing £10,000 - when I've got it, I'll be able to start the structural work on my house. I've got £380 in cash from mse work since mid November.

Morning hypno - cheese scones - mmmnnn. Not even going to try to catch up with 6 days of your diary so will start again from here. Sofa and telly does it for me for new year - would feel entirely wrong to go out and leave Jools Holland on his own! :D OH and I got a mulled wine kit for Xmas so we will be having that and treating ourselves a little - with the fire going...mmmm

Enjoy the run tomorrow - I am working up a fitness plan - won't include running (at least not yet) but lots more walking, some gentle workouts and cycling. That said I dreamt last night I was entered in a race by folk at work - run, cycle, swim - and I hadn't trained for any of it!! Maybe it is a premonition and I had better get going?!
  • Morning all, DS slept until nearly 9 so got lovely lie in, DH went to work at 4.30 this morning,

Lwoods not giving extra £1 but did get 20p :j

Hope you all have a good MSE day, i hate NYE, all fake what a great year it was - NOT, and silly money spent!

Just a note to cheer up chocaholics, our Mr T is stocking easter eggs - hasnt got any meat or frozen stuff left though :rotfl: :EasterBun

  • I think you do them every day lt - if youve don it it tells you!!
Well me for nye - hate it and loate it - people out getting out of their mids so I always stay in! I did try to babysit but she is working shifts so that didnt work!!Well done on the running pepys - I am definately too rubinesque to run at the mo which is a shame cos I did enjoy it. Am debating whether to flog my garmin forerunner as only used it one and its just sitting there like dead money! Also like the idea of squares as a visual person too! Good plan!

No reason why you can't start running again, regardless of what you currently weigh or look like - just start sensibly and work up to it - you know you can do it, and if it is something you enjoy, then there is no reason at all why you shouldn't start again.

Ooh, we could have our very own "swap shop" on MSE - I have got a barbie with a broken head, and in return would like a nintendo Wii with Wii fit :D

    I love my garmin :D
