No traffic on the road today so a very swift journey!

Bought a cheese scone on the way in.....bang goes my NSD for today, but it is New Year's Eve after all.......

Off to make a fake cappuccino to have with it, and all will be well with the world!

and if you can't have a no spend day on new years eve when the devil can you have one... I'll be having a spending neutral day today rather than a no spend. need to buy a brush for pony, petrol on the way back then money for tonight. really not convinced i want to go out, had it dropped on me yesterday that the meal we are meant to be going to is £35 per head. i'd rather spend that money elsewhere and as i hate new years eve with a passion anyway....

I know what you mean, P - A lot of money for one night out - the children want to go out this evening but I am more inclined to stay at home with the telly and MSE......OH is working of course, and I need an early night before the race tomorrow morning.....

The scratchcard may not have been more than 10p P, but did you get the extra £1 today?

My scratchcard money that I requested last week has reached my bank account so I will send that to Egg on Friday, and will be able to colour another box in - does anyone else still colour in their boxes or am I the only sad/mad one left

hi becky! Hope everything went ok yesterday. If it is cold out tonight I bet you don't feel inclined to go further than the sofa.......:D I have a 10k to run tomorrow so that is my excuse.

millie - hope you feel better soon!

Cheese scone was lovely :D Could eat another........

Morning all! I'm walking to the next road to my mate's, just half a dozen of us, I'll be back by about 1am. Millie, sorry to hear you're badly, hope you're warm and staying hydrated. Hypno, you've got a run *tomorrow*??? Wow. I'm not surprised you don't want to go out.

  • thanks Hypno/KC, am desperate to get running again myself (although couldn't think of anything worse right this minute) as I haven't run for a few months and was doing about 30 miles a week eek! that probably explains why I have expanded slightly aswell over the last few weeks.
