Wow, 30 miles a week - that is what I should be doing I think, but the reality is more 20 miles.....

Yes KC, just 6 miles tomorrow morning - a nice start to the year, hopefully! (and a reason not to go out and spend money tonight!).

  • Morning Hypno and all.

6 miles on New Years day, go you.

I got an extra £1 when I signed into Virgin this morning, only won 10p though. Never mind it will all add up.

We are staying in tonight, my sister and bil are coming round. Toying with the idea of seeing if I can buy a big firework, not very mse though is it!

Have a good New years eve everyone, whatever you are doing.

    Happy New Year everyone

Happy new year jenchin - why not just watch everyone else's fireworks - they will be far more MSE friendly than spending £20 on one yourself - it really is like sending money up in smoke!

Once you have got over your flu, get those trainers out of hibernation - you will soon be doing 30 miles a week, I'm sure!

Wha do you mean about colouring squares in Hypno? Sounds like a good motivational thing to do but not sure what it is you are colouring the squares in on!

shabbychicfan - I just made a grid on Word that has 2000 ish squares on it - each square represents £50 and every time I pay off £50 or save £50 I can colour a square in - when the whole sheet is coloured in, that means I am not only debt free, but have about £50k in savings, so can start to think about moving house........

A few of us made them earlier in the year, but I don't know if anyone is still fanatical about their coloured squares as I am!

  • Oooooooooooo ok thanks Hypno, might have a think about that - I am motivated by visual things (which is why I never like opening my cc statements!)
