Thankfully the children don't seem too bothered by the Xbox (or lack of it) - they are watching Madagascar with some popcorn.......:D

I am starting to prepare DD and DS for the fact that I want to watch "the greatest movies of the 1980s" or whatever it is called, at 10pm........Flashdance and The Breakfast Club.......far better than Pirates of the Caribbean which is what we are currently watching :rotfl:

I fear my children may disown me in about an hour's time :o

Morning guys - that's it - Christmas is all done. It's Saturday now and I am back to work on Monday Morning, so a normal weekend in store........

Scratchcards are all done - its a double scratch day but nothing more than 10p for me........but I have withdrawn from one of them so that will reach my bank account sometime in the next few days.

Online banking shows £20 of mystery shopping money that has been added so once I get into January, I can move that over to my Egg loan and get that reduced a little bit - I can't do it before 1st, because Egg are stupid and it will confuse them......so all overpayments have to be made between 1st and 14th of the month.

It seems ages since I paid money off my debt and updated my snowball and coloured in squares.......all this Christmas spending and ski training is not good for my debt free wannabee status! Roll on January and the next lot of Direct debits being made!

I still have £100 of mystery shopping money due in so that will hopefully arrive in time to go to Egg next month too.

On Pandapaw's challenge thread, I have challenged myself to reach payout of £50 on dooyoo (currently at £20) and to reduce my debt by £2000 in January - so I need a bit of a kick up the bum. So far, all I have lined up are my scratchcards and two mystery shops - hardly going to kick a$$ in the way that I want!

It is quite icy outside today - I want to go for a run either today or tomorrow so will wait until things have thawed a bit.....brrrrr.

Dinner is in the slow cooker - steak and kidney casserole - just need to put some jacket spuds in the oven later and voila, a yummy meal :D

Have a good day, everyone xx
