Morning all,
Lucky you for being paid hypno i thought i was being paid today and eagerly went on line to have a look but nothing!!!!!! has put me in a pants mood for the day !! will call payroll at 9 on the dot to find out when is payday . it has been the 18th december for the last 10 years
My plans for the day are all messed up now wanted to get last few xmas presents today while the kids were still at school and not loitering around the shopping centre . so instead i am going to have to make a quick dash to the bank of mum and dad to borrow £10.00 so that i can pay for parking when i take dd to her hospital appointment . I hate having to ask to borrow money always makes be feel like i am 14 and in trouble .:o
think i will also check when i will get paid housing benefit and also noticed that i have been awarded some council tax benefit (from when i had to take some unpaid parental leave ).will need to check how much that is
have a good day all

mammamia, I hope you get your pay sorted out pronto! I asked last week when we were being paid (I've not been here a year yet, so didn't know what the procedure was for December's pay) and he said 19th.....so I was pleasantly surprised when I logged on this morning and saw that there was money in the bank!
I have no idea when OH is going to be paid - his seems to go in different times of the month anyway! Ah well, it will arrive when it arrives!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Very Nice Surprise!!! From what you have said, your company seems to treat it's employees very well, isn't it always the little things that make the difference!!
Having a bit of a growl at our book-keepers atm, who in their wisdom have only advanced payday from the 26th to the 24th, so if anything goes wrong, there will be no way or sorting it out until the New Year! I did ask (tell) them to do it for tomorrow, but one word from me and they do as they please!!!! SIGH - sometimes I wonder if they realize who actually runs this Office!!!!!
OK rant over!!!
Everyone have a lovely day & remember that tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!!

Nice to see everyone getting paid.Enjoy your meeting tonight Hypno.
I'm glad my money is daily as I don't envy any of you having to make pay packets last longer.0 -
Back home.....another long day done and dusted! I got a payslip today for the odd bit of teaching work I did last month - that comes through at the end of next week and will be £100 towards the overpayment, so that was worth doing.
I have finished the Christmas shopping now, so no more (hopefully) needed to be spent before next week except basic groceries -I am not going overboard on Christmas food as most of it is a complete waste. OH is working so much that normal meals will suffice.
Hope you have all had a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Paydays what are they:question:
Oh yes those things I get 4 times a year:eek: Two large ones, two small ones, next one due 31st Jan (small one) so no complaints about long months please:rotfl:
Mind you that's how I got into this mess

Another lurker here. Which mystery shopper sites do you use? I have logged on to retail eyes - but they only seem to 'do' pubs !!
Happy Christmas to all of you.
