    Morning....

A small loan payment comes out today - not enough to get excited about or to colour in a box, but it is a little less debt I have than I did yesterday.

Other than that, not much to report.......I got 50p on a scratchcard, and I am now off to do my banking.

DD has a sleepover at ours tonight - cue lots of giggling girls, pizza and music....but she did tidy her bedroom, so I won't complain!

Have a good day everyone x

thanks chev - as pandapaws said recently, I almost have a "normal" amount of debt :rotfl:

Once it gets under £30k, I will actually feel as though we are on the home stretch I think. I know for many people that is still a huge amount of debt, but considering our starting point of over £100k, that to me will be bloody marvellous :D (and not too far away!).

I agree shaun, life is too short - tomorrow is the anniversary of my dad's death - he was only 55 when he went...no age at all really.

So, here's to health and happiness, coffee and chocolate, scratchcards and mystery shopping!!!

Well done to mini hypnos on the grant, hope your feet heal properly this time as well Hypno.

Good luck with the speech therapist, surfbabe. Enjoy your drive with your mum - it is grey and drizzly here, so I hope you have a little bit of brightness while you are out.

Shaun, sorry to hear you've been this bad .... and Hypno, I'd no idea your dad was so young when he died ... we've mentioned our dads' deaths, but my dad was 84 ... he had a full life ....

But these kinds of statements are why I'm determined to change my own life, and plotting it seriously over the next couple of years. I'm 55 at the end of this year... Life is not infinite, I'm finally realising.

I am trying to follow some of Paul McKenna's technics to change my mindset as the depression had turned me from an optimist to a pessimist. It was really my Mum last Tuesday that pointed it out. We went out together shopping and I was so negative, which I hadnt realised. On Wednesday I took a friend to Tesco and saw his book, so I thought I needed to buy it!
So I agree, HERES TO HEALTH AND HAPPINESS. (tea) AND CHOCOLATE!!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
