Morning Hypno!!!
Thanks for the PM -- glad DD was happy with the bits!
Good News... OH has found a decent job to replace the one he lost when the previous employer folded!
Bad News... The coffee at work is horribly murky!!! (Have to get to work 45 minutes early, as his drive is now 45 mins from my work!!!) simply not the yummy cafetiere coffee we drink at home!
Hope you have a lovely day & that the feet heal up during your 'rest' week!

Yep, thanks for the PM Hypno! And congratulations to rtandon, that must be a relief (the OH's new job, not the coffee - very sorry to hear about everyone's coffee today).
I feel recovered today from my recent dip, now its a question of getting my energies together for the next leap forward. I'm *really* looking forward to that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thank-you Karma & Hypno -- it does feel much better to know we can pay the billls without increasing the debt...next few months will be on the road to recovery -- I can actually bear to look at the budget again & allocate something to the debt payments!
Forgot I'd left a small bodum in my bottom desk drawer, so first course of lunch is about to be a DECENT coffee -- neeeeeeeeeeddddddddddd the caffeine!!!!!!!!! Hypno hope you've found some decent coffee to drink! - crossing fingers that something was on sale!

It's amazing how much brighter the world seems with decent coffee within reach.....:coffee:
Good news from the hypno household - both children have been awarded a grant towards their skiing. We have to go and collect it in a few weeks but once we have it, I can buy DD some much needed ski boots and cover their summer race entry fees which will make a huge difference! Very happy, and pleased for them, because they put a lot of effort into their applications
OH has also picked up an extra shift in his second job for the end of the week, and I have finally managed to get a mystery shop - not much, but at least it is something!
Hope everyone is having a good day xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
That's brilliant news about the grant Hypno...fantastic! You'll be colouring some more boxes before you know it!!
My DH is trying to convince me to go into debt again...he's desperate to get a caravan this year and put it on an interest free credit card. I know we'd pay it off because i'm obsessive about paying them of but it just seems like 100 steps back. I definitely need more convincing! xx0 -
Wow that is excellent news, a huge weight off your shoulders i would imagine.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
