Surfbabe, there is a huge amount of water around, but the sun is shining here today - cold but bright.

I am still really tired so will be drinking mucho coffee all day - determined to go for a run this evening, so need to wake up!!

I was chatting with dh last night about your blister (!) and he asked whether you have tried double layer socks, not just wearing 2 pairs but socks that have 2 linings. Other than that have you tried insoles?

Afternoon all....hope you are all ok with all the bad weather.Blackpool must be another country as we have had none of the bad weather.It's been sunny but cold.

Hypno perhaps you'll be lucky at the trainer shop as they prescribed the trainers and surely they shouldn't be causing blisters

hi Taxi, Hi eva! I do use the double layer socks which are normally fine. There is a Scholl shop near my office, so I may go there tomorrow and see what they say!

I have just been for my long overdue eye test - need to save up for new specs :mad: At least most places are doing BOGOF so I can get sunglasses free. I have one eye that is short sighted, and one which is long sighted - no wonder my eyes feel tired all the time!!!

Can work help out with the costs? Some places do especially if you use computer lots, which I'm presuming you do.
