    Hypno, I'm surprised you need glasses with that description - thats exactly what I have, one eye longsighted, one eye shortsighted, thats why I *don't* have glasses - I've had two eye tests in the last year (for the nectar points and the Clubcard points) and both of them have said I could if I wanted - but the only thing I can't do is read the instructions on packets of Quorn properly any more, and thats just age-related (sob). Do *you* feel you can't see properly?

    And good luck with the running, it sounds like you've really stepped it up, doing a run of that length.

    For most of the time I don't need glasses - but with screens flashing full of numbers all day, my eyes get very tired very quickly and then I get headachey or "out of sorts", so the glasses are really for that more than anything else - there is no need for me to wear them for driving for example, unless I am tired etc
