    Hi Hypno
I have also just had a long overdue eye test and also need glasses however a friend recommended a local discount glasses warehouse and picked up a pair for forty pounds -they're not designer but certainly good value.

Morning all and hi to everyone who posted through the night!

I will be shopping around for glasses - I even used a half price voucher at the opticians for my test, even though my firm paid - MSE through and through

Friday today - and I have had a really bad night's sleep - I have a meeting today so have to get the train and I am sure I am going to fall asleep and miss my stop! Might have to set my alarm on my phone......just in case :o

Yes, double scratchcards were nice while they lasted - like many MSE freebies, they don't last for ever. One day they will pull the scratchcards altogether I'm sure.

I hope you all have a good day.

Poor sleep is pants isn't it! My student came home from a night out at 2.30.......OH came home from work at 3am......before that I couldn't sleep because I kept thinking about this meeting I have today, despite making all my notes yesterday evening......and then when I did get to sleep, I had a bad dream

An early night will be in order for me tonight I think!

Nothing more than 10p on the scratchcards today - still, 10p is 10p!

Time for one more coffee before I get the bus........
