Evening - well ended up with DD at home as no school today because roads were waist deep in water (I kid you not!!!) hopefully it has subsuded now so she can go tomorrow. I managed to get in but had to do twice as many miles as usual to avoid all the flooding!!!

We have the Wii and Wii fit but have never had an Xbox, PS1, PS2, Ps3 or anything else!!!

................ in fact we didn;t have a television until DS turned 12 !!!!!!!!

There would be little point in us having any sort of games console - OH borrowed an xbox over Christmas from work, and after 5 mins of use, it was left to gather dust.

Every so often the children make a comment about saving their pocket money up for a wii, but then they decide there are far better things to spend their hard earned cash on!

    Inky - I have a 20 mile race on 8th March - that is almost a marathon!!

Oh that's ok then (well for you, not me, I couldn't run for a bus :rotfl: ) & it'll give you a chance to see how you fair over a longer distance, average pace, miles an hour, etc.
I'll stop now as you can see I not big on "running" terminology

That's commitment, I won't move off the sofa if I've got a blister on my foot (in fact, I won't move off the sofa for many reasons).

I got a Wii Fit, but haven't played it yet as we've discovered Mario Kart is too addictive. And I haven't played any computer games either since I was a kid - we only got the Wii at Christmastime as it was recommended to us for getting fit and it was cheaper than joining the gym. That was the excuse we used anyway.

Hi Hypno! Sorry to hear your blisters are still giving you pain ... I hope its as "simple" as the insoles ....

I just noticed the "location" element of Shaun's listing - Dublin, west Liverpool - nice one Shaun!!! I love it, never heard it - we always used to call Liverpool the English capital of Ireland, cos its full of people like me, part Irish from all sorts of different ancestors.

I have to say, PP, that I haven't moved far from the sofa myself this evening :o

KC, I'm getting quite fond of my blisters - no pain no gain :rotfl:

I've heard that the best cure for blisters is chocolate. Administered orally, not topically, obviously.
