  • Tunebite works very well, and is reasonably priced
  • Ok so if you didn't mean to say the retail version is over priced, why did you say people are fools to buy it? :) Any and I mean ANY normal person would know, it's because it costs more....

In the same way I'd call anyone a fool for buying something on the high street that is available elsewhere that is exactly the same product but significantly cheaper.
  • It ain't PC world that prices the retail version higher.. Wake up.

So once again, any normal person would deduce that from what you said, you agree that Microsoft are overpricing Windows... Specifically when it comes to retail.

And there are a lot of fools in this world.. I must be a fool, and I bet you're a big one too (you certainly sound like it).

Anyway let's all drink tea and make peace.

  • I've clearly stated that I do not think Microsoft are overpricing their software, you seem to have a problem accepting that fact. I suppose in your view where piracy is fine, anything that costs money is going to seem overpriced.
  • I didn't state piracy is "fine" haha.

And though you've "clearly" stated that you dont think they're overpricing they're software, you agree that people are fools if they spent so much on Windows from ANY retail outlet because of how high the price is from Microsoft, compared to other sources..

You've completely contradicted yourself, and thats what I find a hard time accepting. And I've spent a lot of money on software and music. Luckily being a student I get the expensive stuff free through MSDN, for now anyway.

If I am to pay for something then I should have all the right to use it in whichever way I choose provided I am not hurting anyone.
    The law states otherwise.
Being illegal doesn't mean that it should not be resisted by freedom fighters defending their rights.

Here we go again....trying to justify thievery.

See look what you've gone and done now.......................
You don't get any of this greif with open source............:rotfl:
    :rotfl:Your all sheep realy. :rotfl:
Why don't you stop beating each other up, and install Linux and get a phone from CPWH, (if you can get it to work on Linux).....;)
The world would be a much better place....:D
Oh and PS., I may have broken the law from time to time, but I have done nothing wrong...........
PPS the biggest mistake I have ever made, is not cracking a game before I go and buy it full retail price.
The best download I ever had was Dugeon Seige. I downloaded it, cracked it, finished it, Bought it (full retail price) finished it about ten more times, downloaded the mods finished it another ten times, and now its gathering dust in my attic till I feel the need to go play it again and finish it............
I have probably spent hundreds, if not thousands of pounds on games in the past. (full retail price) thes company's don' take into consideration the fact that you have spent a fortune with them already. I mean, how many of you have bought CD's or games?
I have all but given up on my PC for playing games now.....
Why should I go pay £30 £40 for a game that I dont even know that I will like.
And I dont crack it because I'm too tight to go buy it.
I crack it because I can.
DRM will eventually kill the gaming industry for the PC, which is all part of BG's master plan for world domination of the eliteist. I garuntee, within 10 to 20 years the average PC will be beyond most people and you will all be running MAC's, or Linux made from imports, by children in sweat shop in outer Mongolia, or Taiwan or wherever they are made........
So, you keep giving these people your money if you want to.....
As for me, I'm with the penguin, a proper caring sharing community.
Knowlege should be free, like the advise you get from your parents, or the old war story's told to you by your grandfather. Not something thats for sale to the highes bidder.
To travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....
