In order to download legally I have subscribed to Napster ToGo.
But my main music listening gadget is my N95.
The problem is that the drm protected WMAs won't play (obviously enough).
Has anyone got any cunning plans - the music has been legitimately downloaded for my 'mp3 player' as per the spirit of the subscription - all I want to do is strip the DRM so that I can listen on the move.
(Have trialled SoundTaxi but was aiming for something which was free!!)

Grey area. Removing the DRM conflicts with the terms of Napster ToGo thus its legitimately downloaded, but by modifying it you are breaking the terms..
If I were you, I'd email Napster and demand your money back if they don't resolve it.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Why not get the music from amazon0
-
Burn to CD and then rip to whatever file format/compression required for the N95. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

You can't burn Napster2Go music to CD AFAIR, it's only able to be transferred to a set list of portable devices.0

Circumventing the DRM is illegal under the EU's Information Society Directive.
Why did you subscribe to Napster if you cant play it's tracks on your player?0 -
And people wonder why there is so much illegal downloading... :rolleyes:0

Get Emule Or Bit Torrent, Morpheus, donkey, Limewire, Zultrax, Ares, Kazaa, Grokster, etc. etc.
Or go to Carphone Warehouse and buy a phone. You get unlimited music downloads.
Mind you, It matters not, weather you download files legally or not. There is always a penalty.... But at least, its cheaper than going to HMV.....:DTo travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -
Beware that all the sites used by the software above have virus and malware infested MP3s strewn throughout and as well as that, the RIAA shove dummy files on as well.0

Once once again, it's a subject that is against the site rules and shouldn't be discussed :rolleyes:0
