    Hello everyone

Chunky - I would still give your Aunt her Christmas card
Lil-me - hugs over Megan - it's a really tough decision for you to make but I'm sure you'll make the right one. And the house is worth looking at I'm sure...

Have been thinking about Lady-L and how she got on this afternoon...

Flylady_flower - hugs for your friend and you

Oooh, and - happy birthday to you too! :bdaycake:

Summermoon - hugs - you will get used to the new routine, I promise - you'll also learn shortcuts- just think of the money!

Better day at work today - actually did something constructive! But, I must now go and fly in the kitchen

BTW... I'm a lot curvier than the mannequin, so the effect isn't quite so demure, - what look ARE we going for then...dares NOT type what jumped into the mind
Any thoughts/suggestions before I finally give up and go to bed would be welcomed!
Must admit, I was put off ironing for life when I was young and lived with my mum - she irons EVERYTHING, and when I say everything, I mean it - pants, socks, knickers, bras and TIGHTS!!!! she also irons towels, teatowels and DUSTERS!!! I used to have to iron my own stuff and she would leave it for me to do - I used to put most of it away sharpish so she couldn't see what I wasn't ironing... come on, ironing dusters and tights, thats just wrong...
Bras and tights - that's SICK (shuffles off sharpish before flyladies realise that Valli clearly irons other stuff Flower has listed...)
What's not to like about ironing - the satisfaction of a neatly folded pile of ironing...not bad considering I watched my mum moan about how much she hated ironing when I was a kid...

I have a kitchen table again instead of a dumping ground piled high with opened and unopened post, various random clothing and other bits and pieces - YAY!

    I'm now going to sweep!

    Lil_me and Chunky (((hugs)))

Pigpen I think it's inappropriate too ... there are plenty of other activities which could have been done instead...

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Or the house oddjob mentioned - that sounded nice, but it would need a cleaner and gardener too.... I forgot to mention the reason I wouldn't swap him was I'd hate to break in another one at my age - too much hassle... I know how to work this one and when he stops working, if you hit him on his head or kick him in the shins he starts again... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have the house.. but mines Victorian and falling to pieces about our ears and taking so long to do up and repair.. not to mention the lack of money!!

Maybe I just wished in a way she'd go peacefully in her sleep one night without all these problems. Suppose it makes you think aswell if there was only this sort of dignity possible with humans how many would choose it.

Maybe she will.. just love her now and tomorrow will bring what it does

Bother, I forgot to post sexymouse, onlineid and Sunnygirl (thank you) your cards all arrived today. If you haven't sent yours yet please put sticky tape around the envelope both ways as sexymouse's arrived open (but they are all there thankfully!)

    soappie well done!

Collected DS2 and there was a note saying Beavers is closing :( such a shame but most of them are DS2s age and big enough for Cubs next year, they haven't had any interest from little ones to continue it. Closes in February which is when DS2 goes to cubs so he won't have a gap unlike a few of them. So sad that more children don't want to do it, DS2s loved it.

Must make boys dinner, DPs out until about 10pm ish so going to do chicken wraps later for us. Still working on using my freezer up, got a few fresh things from Sainsburys delivery today which I will add up and put on my total when I pop back in, delivery was mainly for chocolates as parts/presents for people. Waiting for a few more deliveries still, some were due today, grrr.
One day I might be more organised...........

The assistant head thought it was inappropriate too and pulled the lesson... and.. the girls who complained (there were a few but I was first in line of parents on the phone) are not back in the class until he has spoken to the teacher.
