    afternoon all,

Just back from the panto school trip - Mother Goose at the MacRobert in Stirling - although not the story of Mother Goose that I remember but the kids all really enjoyed it, dont envy the teachers trying to calm them down this after.

sarah - very sorry to read your news re your friends little boy, sening positive vibes that his treatment works.
pigpen - does sound very harsh that your DS has been punished twice for the same incident, good luck with dealing with the school.
serena - hope your mum is not too poorly.

hugs & cuppas to anyone else who needs, sorry only skimmed the thread, need to find my list and make a start.

Well have had lunch (ages ago now - omelette with Emmental cheese reduced to 25p in M0rrisons - I had to cut the edge off but a huge piece - and some left) - which reminds me - Gareth and Stacey is on tonight!
Have made the kids beds (and vacuumed UNDER DS's  and swapped castors - one is broken - it has another bed which slides under so has a side with three castors on and one with two. The dodgy castor is now in the middle IYSWIM and a good one at each corner...
I have marked the reading tests I did earlier in the week so I am about to put them on a spreadsheet and see who needs a retest with a higher level paper - and if one boy needs to do a lower level one...
I have ironed and put away laundry as appropriate, too. But I still have lots to do...

ETA so far, Dusty, she is. I have my appointment for my scan booked now, in January. My mum has told me she will come with me but I think I would rather go alone - would that be a good idea?

 Vaguely here. Forced myself to go to the Carol Service which I hate but it wasn't too bad and DD1's face lit up when she saw me which made it worth it :D Also this morning bought present for a friend who had a baby a couple of weeks ago and managed to get that to her, went to mother and toddler group which was good as it was the party and I forgot! And also managed to get a better looking child fireguard rather than the tatty one we have at the moment, it was free :D

Will finally get around to doing something later! Wondering whether to light a fire now as I might have to go out in a bit.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
