Morning Lovelies (ODDJOB look away now...)
Aunt Flo has arrived a day early (but obviously I am at home so that's good...so far I haven't taken the tablets to slow her down - I think I will 'suck it and see' so to speak - if I remember rightly I was two or three days in last time when the floodgates opened.
Been to do my Friday errand, have relocated step ladders back to shed and all decs up. Lounge vacuumed again - I have the prettiest tree, DD has done a good job there.
I have also stripped two of the beds, washed the towels which are in the TD as I speak and the sheets are in the WM right now.I WILL NOT REMOVE ALL THE DIRTY GLASSES/PLATES FROM MY DAUGHTERS ROOM. I WILL NOT.
I gotta teen that does that too - I threatened him with having to make his own bed today (today is linen change day) pots in kitchen - job done...oh and for some reason one radiator in the living room isn't chucking out properly and it is now cold here.. so all being well normal service will resume from next week.Job no#1 for tomorrow... get a copy of the schools behaviour policy
Job no#2 have nails painted
Job no#3 ring the LEA
Job no#4 find the breachs of behaviour policy
Job no#5 drag the school over the hot burning coated in acid coals
Job no#6 gloat!
What HAVE they done now?My sister rang last night to tell me that Mum is very poorly. I shall be going over this afternoon, so not much chance to fly today I think. Warm thoughts, prayers, hugs and virtual chocolate appreciated!

Morning all. Got to be in work in about 2 hours time so I'm just getting myself organised and double checking DD's bag for tonight. I also need to make something up to take with me to the theatre (bottle of cordial & some banana chips I'm thinking).
I've just had to go and amend my Asda order - there I was thinking I'm all organised and was going to do a second order for this weekend to get all the Xmas stuff in. Logged into Asda to change the delivery date and noticed the e-voucher I'd used had been changed to a minimum spend of £99 :mad: So I cancelled the 22nds order, reimported the trolley with some adjustements from mysupermarket and its now arriving on Saturday and costing me £103But thats EVERYTHING (except 2x selection boxes for under the tree and a tube of sweets for DD's stocking), and some stocking up as well to get it over the £99 limit. I just hope there's enough room in my freezer :eek: *mental note - defrost freezer and put everything I can into smaller bags* .
Right plan for rest of day :- Wash hair
- Make-up for face
- Snacks for school trip
- Triple check DD's bag for going away
- School for 12.30ish (going to go earlier if I can via the chippy so I've had a hot filling meal before I go
Thats my "treat" for this weekend)
- School trip until 5pm-ish
- Pick DD up from mum's ASAP after trip REMEMBERING TO PICK UP UNIFORM ETC
- Text Ex when half-way home so he knows he's okay to leave his
- [strike]Murder DD for dragging her feet on the way home then text Ex to tell him she's not going away as I've killed her
[/strike] Make sure DD takes EVERYTHING she should in the car with her.
- [strike]Spend the night in a police cell chatting to the nice men and women in blue uniforms...:p[/strike] Strip DD's bed ready for wash
- Collapse infront of the TV and write Xmas cards while watching NCIS etc
- Possibly a bath....
- Bed
- Defrost Freezer (put water bottles in bath for them to defrost - I put them in to fill up the empty space
)
- Tidy House right through
- Clean house
- Laundry
- STUDY - CMA & start of TMA
- Make sure I'm in for Asda delivery
- Lunch & Tea from freezer (I suspect it may be Pizza or jacket potatoes...)
- Ironing while watching TV after tea
- Bed at a decent time
- Make DD's bed up
- Change my bed (leaving washing the bedding until DD gets back to make wash loads up)
- Town run for a couple of bits for Xmas
- Hide any Xmas bits that need hiding
- Study
- Bath DD when she gets back (possibly feed - depends on what time she gets back and what she had to eat before hand. Sometimes she doesn't want an evening meal as she's still full from lunch)
- Make my lunches up for next week
- Ironing of anything that needs it.
- Bed before midnight.

What HAVE they done now?
They gave DS3 5 lunchtime detentions for the accident when he broke that girls nose.. then this week they have decided he is not allowed to go to the christmas party which is in school hours so he has a legal obligation to be in school and also he is being punished twice for the same ACCIDENT!
I also think the word accident is the relevant word here.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
sounds somewhat excessive, that...and that was a few weeks ago...

Did anybody watch Little Dorrit? I got very lost on the explanation of who Amy and Arthur really were. If I understand correctly Amy is actually the daughter of Mr Clennam and not Mr Dorrit? So who are Arthur's parents?0

scot free?
of course.. but she had surgery on her beak.. it was 3 weeks ago today the incident.
The other 2 girls involved have had no punishment whatsoever
In fact.. I may phone the restorative practice people today as well.. I have a sore throat (probably fighting off a cold) and that makes me unpleasant lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning All :wave:
Serena warm hugs and wishes for you and your Mum, I do hope all's well, have a safe journey to her, and take care of you too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, what a few days..... I don't have good news I'm afraid.
My friend's little boy does have Leukemia.
On the upside however, it's the most 'treatable' type, ( ie, responds most successfully to treatment. ) My understanding is, that if you're gonna get it, this it the type to have.
So, thank you my lovely flyladies for all your good wishes, positive vibes, thoughts, prayers and candle lighting. I'm convinced it has all made a difference, and that he'll do ok. :A
Mummy is completely devastated, she's not a strong, no nonsense type of girl.But she's got very good support particularly from our mutual best friend. So that'll see her through.
Thank you all again. Your generosity of spirit is overwhelming.
