just a mum- i'm behind on little dorrit (watching the sunday omnimbuses) so I'll tell you then...no one spoil it for me!!! Try wikipedia if you need more info on storyline...
I'm up and about, though a bit bleugh - falling back to sleep always gives me a bit of a headache. However, breakfast is eaten, soup is bubbling away and I am going to have a shower, wash up, stick some washing in and nip to the shop so I can get some bread plus something for the new baby. Hoping to work out how to get to my friends on 2 buses as I really don't feel like getting the car from in laws and driving over there.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Sarah - I must have missed the posts about your friend's son, but I have added you all to my prayer candle list, and hope he makes a full and rapid recovery.

SarahShattered..... I am sooo sorry to hear the news about your freinds little boy. It must be devastating for everyone involved. Atleast he has the 'best' kind to have tho, a close freind of mine lost her little boy to Leukemia almost exactly a year ago, after a long fight with it and the complications that went wth it, he had a nasty one tho.
I will keep you all in my thoughts, healing get well vibes coming his way.
(((HUGS))) to you all.An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will

Hello - not my first time here but I have been away for a long time and I didn't get into it properly last time anyway. So have a :xmastree:! I have just had a baby though so maybe I'm being too hard on myself
Please excuse the tongue in cheek nature of my post, I'm making fun of myself rather than anyone else.

Morning all
Serena, thinking about your Mum.
Welcome llamahead
still thinking about your friend's son Sarah
Ok, one load of washing hung up indoors, cold and cloudy today with some rain. But not frosty for a change.
Damp wiped living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. Must be cold because the cat didn't even move off the cable box when I vacuumed! Normally she freaks out as soon as I plug it in.
Made sausage and tomato pie for dinner so I've just got to switch the oven on later. Although I've still made it somehow it feels like an easy dinner when I just have to switch the oven on later.
I've acquired an empty Roses tin (no I didn't empty it, it was already empty) which I think is slightly larger than my Quality Street tin so I'm hoping my cake will fit in there when it's iced. We'll see.
No sinus headache today. Cough and "rough" throat instead

Thank you all again..... :A :A :A :A :A :A :A :A :A
I read everything to our mutual friend, and we were both so choked. The little boy's mummy would not cope with hearing all of your words at the moment, but the knowledge for me that all over the country there are people thinking, praying, and sending a positive wish for them, is wonderful, and I firmly believe that it has to make a difference. Even if it's only for that split second when you read it, or while you type it.... it's a wonderful thing.
