I have everything done for today and laundry on. Going to parents for the weekend so spending the rest of the day drying laundry, packing, and wrapping pressies.
Sarah -sorry to hear your news but good that's it treatable and kids that age tend to be stronger than you would think - my brother had childhood leukemia and is now almost 30 and been perfectly healthy since."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Paul Theroux0 -
SarahS, oh sweetie, I don't know what to say. I hope so much that your friends little lad fights this off and that his treatment is timely and effective.
I'm sending some thoughts out there for you, your friend and her lad. xxxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

hello my lovely flyladies and flymen!
have managed to do a quick catch up on your chatting this morning
sarahsupergirl (((((hugs))))) to you all babes - at least now they know what they are dealing with and wee man's MUm will find the strength - between you, your mutual friend, family and her own mother instict she will get through it - I hope when she sees how well the wee man copes it will give her added encouragement - we all have inner courage that comes out when we need it. HUgs and prayers for effective treatment and a good recovery.
G&B hope the last exam went well and you enjoy your time off - dont get too carried away with the decorating - its meant to be a holiday!!!

Froddy enjoy your 'do' - I will be around for HHC's tomorrow!
AnW's MUm nice to hear that you had a good time - cant wait to see you bell ringing in your presie!!!!
serena ((((hugs)))) for you and your MUM - hope she improves quickly - take care driving honey- easy to get distracted when you are worried. Healing thoughts being sent her way.
spamjam you are doing great - dont worry if there is not enough time to do a particular job (I am thinking about your filing here) just do what was on the list (15 mins) and move on - it will all come together in time!
And GOOD LUCK with the job interview!!!
pollybear hope the throat doesnt get worse
gryfon hope the back gets easier after your yoga
triker hope you are feeling better today
pigpen that is soooo out of order - he has done his detention so why make him 'pay' again - go get 'em girl - SORT THEM OUT!!!!
llamahead its lovely to have you pop in from down under!!!! you are very welcome to join us on a regular basis - we dont bite! If you have been lurking you will see that we are a friendly bunch and like to support and encourage each other as much as we can. I know it is a bit more difficult for you due to the time difference but we already have denisenz in new zealand so you have a buddy!!!! Its nice to know the 'flying' has already helped you - just remember the babysteps and you will soon have the house ship-shape! Remember there is no such thing as failure here - post what you have done and forget the rest! Welcome to the ever-so-slightly madhouse!!!!
foreversomeday welcome back honey and 'yes' you probably are being to hard on yourself. A new baby (if that is your avavtar he is gorgeous!) is a lot of work as all the mums on here will agree - your time with him is precious so enjoy it and do what you can when you can. even if you only manage level 1 each day and some of your own dailies that will be brilliant and slowly you will get back into a routine. babies create havoc IMHO!!! not only in their lovely time consumiing presence but also in all the gibbles they need!!!! So 'babysteps' and you will get there. Come on here and post what you have done - forget about what you havent - and you can rant as much as you like and the other mums will give you their experiences and thoughts too.
Welcome back to the mad-house - its probably worse than when you were last here!!!!
I have a feeling I have missed someone so huge hugs to all the poorlies and everyone else that needs or wants one (((HUGS))))
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
