Abbey business accounts

This just gets worse and worse with Abbey.
I got my paper statement yesterday for my business account. On it was notification that I will be charged £29.50 on 23rd April for exceeding the maximum number of cheques (100) in a month. My month with them runs from the 2nd of the month. This means that they reckon that I deposited 159 cheques between 2nd March and 2nd April. I actually deposited 93. I know this because I keep good records and even keep photocopies of every cheque that goes in - in case of a customer enquiry.
Fair play to them though. I phoned up and they have waived the charge. I don't like the term "waived". It makes it sound like they are doing me a favour when the reality is that they've screwed up (yet again).
The paperwork to start my Co-op account is arriving in dribs and drabs. It should be ready to start in a few days.
I really don't want to leave Abbey. I actually want to stay. However, they just won't make it possible.0 -

Is the business trading in your name or as something else?? If its in your name you can get away with opening a personal account and there wont be any limits, and you can use your account over the counter, ATM, online etc etc.
Plus old and new business accounts now have counter service. and any new accounts are 090127 sort code and not the old 090666, so you are able to get statements balances etc over the counter.
