Anyway point of the post - now I can see my accounts but cannot do anything - make payments, move money or anything other than see my balances.
I've got exactly the same problem. Can see the accounts can't do anything with them.
Also been fobbed off on the phone. 45 mins last night and was told that the site would have full functionallity back at the opening of business today. WRONG!!!
What a total !!!! up!!!
Does anyone know the number for telephone banking? I got through once but I don't know a number that it asked for so I can't even move money that way!!!
My business is now unable to function. !!!!!! am I supposed to do Abbey???0 -
Same for me - two companies. After an hour got through on the phone to a call centre that does not handle business banking. They found out that they had not transferred user details into the new system so set me up with a new one. A mere 7 to 10 days. No problem they say, you can always use the telephone banking system .... with its one hour delays!!!!
Security was a nightmare - they wanted to know a recent transaction but as I could not log in how can I give it to them!!!!
I have written to Abbey UK Chief Executive personally. Lets see if that raises a response.0 -
There is a problem with this website's security certificate.
Now getting the above, with a red sheild, when I try to log on.
I am so annoyed with this. How many business people must this be affecting?
HUGE MISTAKE!!!
What happened to the no hassle upgrade that we were promised?
No hassle. :mad:0 -
This might help all those stuck on the phone (over 50 mins yesterday before I gave up and 30 mins today before I broke), here is the 0800 number for Abbey Business - 0800 056 5151.
I've given up for today, hopefully something will be fixed for tomorrow, oh look a flying pig0 -
Someone on another forum has been told that he should never have been allowed to transfer funds between a reserve account and his main account!!!! :rotfl: !!!!!! is going on.

I seem to have everything up and running now and the statements are now correct. I have to say that now that the teething problems appear to be over (at least mine seem to be), it looks like a FAR superior system. I've been experimenting with it. I made a £50 BACS payment from business to personal account. It cleared instantly. I tried a payment from personal to business account (just 1p for a test). That cleared instantly too. It also showed my payment reference straight away as well.
I'm delighted with it.
This now means that I can finally offer all my customers the option of paying by BACS without there being any confusion as to who has paid. This will also make it far less likely that I will exceed 100 cheques in a month (which would incur charges). Mind you, I've never paid a penny in charges yet. If it looked like I would have exceeded the 100 limit, I just held some back a few days. If it ever started to build up month on month, I would just have deposited into my personal account and BACS'd to business account in one payment.
Abbey could have saved its customers a lot of grief by communicating much better. Having no access to funds for a couple of days could have cost me charges on my personal account and DD's. It was more by luck than planning that this didn't happen. It would have been possible to withdraw in advance if it had been made known. Pretty disgraceful really but a superior service seems to be growing from it.0 -
The option to make payments has now appeared but without funds from the reserve account I can't pay anyone. Sometimes the reserve account isn't listed and sometimes it is!!
I NEED TO BE ABLE TO MOVE MONEY FROM THE RESERVE TO MY CURRENT ACCOUNT!!!!!
C'mon Abbey 4 days now without being able to make a single transaction.0
