You forgot 'dinner lady attacked my daughter' sounds like a headine from the Sunday Sport.
The dinner lady's probably upset as her 2 BTLs are about to be repossessed because they didn't realise they'd never get tenants in their 2 Leeds new build flats and now her husband's been laid off from his job selling new cars she lost her temper because the daughter was holding a copy of the Sun whose headline said: HOUSE PRICES DOWN 2.6% IN NOVEMBER that day

I know exactly how you feel PN because I feel exactly the same way.

I so want to say in my flouncy voice "That's it, I am off" but again it is for the same reasons you have said....I feel distinctly uncomfortable posting there, too many people jump in without really looking at what you have posted or just want to be arguementative.

I don't want to have to trawl through threads of silly matter to get to the important stuff about the economy and the effects on the housing market (or possible effects), I want to be able to see that all on one board as I have been able to since I joined the site in April.

It is incredibly scary posting in moneysaving arms, it feels all predatory.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh I know you PasturesNews :)

I'm a woman, and always in MSA and DT, but I hope I'm not scary although I do hold opinions. :o;)
I am not very good with moving things, gifs. That eye's a bit spooky, to be honest.
    :)

Things that move have to be watched, which raises alertness and ultimately anxiety. (it's damned complex being odd!)

I know I will soon have something in common with ex hubby....I am getting repetitive strain in my finger (ok his is his wrist) from constantly scrolling up and down the blooming site chasing the threads around! :rotfl:

    It's not difficult.

Either post on the thread in question or subscribe to it and then just click on User CP and all the posts will be together. You don't have to chase any threads around.

Neither does anyone else who is moaning about the threads being moved.

But that still involves button clicking more than I am used to....and it makes it incredibly unsettling to a smooth use of the site.

Yep, I am def more like my children (and PN) than I thought! :rotfl:

As a suggestion from me, there are a number of very knowledgeable people in the house prices forum who would make excellent moderators. Perhaps someone like 'Pastures New' (just an example) would be a good choice.
Thanks ... but I wouldn't call myself knowledgeable. I am opinionated. Different thing entirely. I use HP to learn. I've learnt shed loads there! And the people are lovely, especially the odd ones.

But thanks for reading my drivel :)

I wonder why it is that some people on these forums think those on the House Price board seem slightly aloof and look down on others?
