Hi Tabunny.
There will be more cold weather payments issued for this week and probably next week to as it is supposed to stay cold. :T
I haven't got mine yet though.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

The payment that I got last month came in by giro for some reason. Not sure why as my benefit goes in my bank.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

I received a second payment today now is that the one I should have received after Jan 17th as the letter said or is this a new one? It is getting confusing.
What angers me is the fact that next year in Sept I turn 60. I was actually looking forward to it because I would receive the Over 60 cold weather payment. Now I have been told the government has changed the dates of when you are entitled to your pension (cold weather payment) and now I have to wait until 2011!! This totally sucks.
I turn the heat off around 5-6pm because the house is warm enough and I have a great warm dressing gown but this cold weather is costing me a fortune and I have one continuous cold which is so frustrating.0
