Totally agree. It sounds cheesy but you have to live for every day. You could get hit by a bus tomorrow and then where would your "I will do all this in the future" have got you? :T0 -
Finally got debt free in the past month after accumulating thousands of pounds of debts from being a student. I never want to go back to owing anyone anything and do not want to just squandering money on "stuff" I don't need or want. If a friend asks if I want to go out I want to be able to always say "yes" without mentally calculating how much left I will have to live on if I do

I want to:
1) Stand on my own 2 feet! Not have to ask my widowed mother for help, not happening as frequently now, even though I know she doesn`t mind. Its me, her & DS, and she keeps telling me that its my inheritance and I need it now!
2) Put the finger up to ex, regarding the mantance for DS. Its more than others get, but its a pittance in the scheme of things. I want to be able to tell him that DS gets given it as his pocket money!
3) To retire - 20 ish years, and not be the old lady who has to choose between heat & food! That SCARES me!
4) To retire, buy a BIG campervan & travel the world and see the bits I missed by being skint! Health providing!
5) To be able to leave DS in a position where he can be MF if he wants.Living debt free, since Sept 08 & Dec 10 :wall:
