I have stocked up on greetings cards for months to come. All really good quality and half price.

I also got a lovely furry covered hotwater bottle. I had had my eye on it before the Big Sale and it was £7.50. I got it for £4. My tootsies will be really warm tonight!

The only thing i was pleased with, my X Factor game (£11.99 after discount) ive just found on tesco direct for £3.99 on offer, but it was only £8 before the offer!!!!

cant believe that some of you have been saying that this sale has been a con. It clearly says UP TO 50% OFF on all the banners, why cant people read??? I am a Woolworths employee and cant wait for this sale to be over cause off all the customers complaining!!

We brought a wall clock yestderday for £1.36 from the Present road branch originally £10 went into the Watford branch and it was £5 prices on things vary from store to store

how is everyone getting the 20% off aswell, i popped into my local woolies yesterday and got some birthday cards and school tops which were half price for the boys but didnt get 20% off at the till?

I went in to woolies today it was absolutly rubbish there was hardly anyhting at 50% off only rubbish and the chocs were more expensive than supermarkets even wioth 20% off! for example tubes of sweets £1.50 a tube! tins of quality street £10! A ps2 £98 them 10% off =£88.20 cheaper everywhere else. My advice be very carfull dont be taken in by the advertising and check out other stores first.
