I love this site - was just about to spend quite a few hours driving to town, finding somewhere to park and then jostle with the crowds just to see if Woolies had a couple of particular items for sale. Thought i'd just check to see if any comments on MSE and thanks to your comments I shant bother have now gained 3 more hours in the day rather than wasting them :j

Now have the time to make some more pressies in peace and quiet instead and save even more money - yippee:T - That's what I call a bargain!

It's been like that for about a week. Seems they're not going to be taking online orders any more.
  • hah nice one scottish - i think the real bargains are the stocking fillers although i think i'm going to grab my dad the tool bag that was half price from £18 to £9 then has 20% off that

My Woolworths had the usual upto 50% off but also the words off ALL STOCK. So surely even newspapers , chocolate bars etc should by the wording have some discount applied??

all the posters were 50% off which make great stocking fillers, also lots of funky badges with fun slogans on were 50% off - bargain of the day was a nodding dog for 80p! I really needed one of them!!!
  • I got a few bargins, but I was dissappointed that there was only a few things on offer up to 50%, but i did need to buy the bits, so i did save

The best buy i got was a luxury chocolate faux throw, was meant to be £50, with 20%off however went through the till at £12 :D
