I didn't go to my interview. I cancelled it. I have two interviews in 10 days for jobs I do want so decided to wait for those. Possibly a foolish choice

I think I would have gone for the practice and then turned down the job if it was offered. Each to their own though. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for the next one instead :p

And as for housework Lou - I fell asleep while thinking about what I should get on with first... :rotfl:

Was almost too cold whe we went to medieval fayre at Ludlow _ kind of killed the atmosphere a bit I think but had a great weekend otherwise. Mum & Dad spoiled me rotten and I came home with a mountain of baby clothes :) and a cheque to pay for pram :j

Can't believe we'll be back down for Xmas in less than 3 weeks :) Then just 2 weeks of work and I'm on maternity leave. It's all getting very close :eek

back from work, just having some lunch and then will go back for 3.30 to do the exam. Other than knowing what to do/say in what order (have to take away any mobiles phones!) it should be a nice gentle introduction as it's just 1 candidate.

    bright blue skies here today.

Have to say I am coming to the realisation that my life is getting too fragmented. On top of the 3 jobs already (plus the teaching planning time), taking on invigilating at work, becomes, I guess job number 4 - even if it will be ad hoc. I've also been told today that it looks like they can start the next stage of my teaching qual. on a Monday afternoon from next term, so that will be studying from Jan to July to add to the mix.

I also have this table/stall to plan for next Thursday and I have no idea when I'm going to get the time to do it. It is a real start from scratch job and I have had a think about what to do, but it's then producing all the stuff to laminate and display and then spend Wed. afternoon cooking whatever nibbles I want to take with me to have available. As it's teaching related I will need to do it all separate to my morning job, I'm on a training course tomorrow and teaching nearly all day Monday. Eeek!!

There is the opportunity for some more admin hours available and I was this morning thinking about saying I'd be interested in doing them on a Monday (slightly higher rate of pay and nobody else is interested), but that would mean I wouldn't be able to do the 'office' type courses, or the next stage of the teaching qual. and it would make it a long day, shooting straight off to teach cookery on a Monday night.

Back from my 20 week scan and I've decided the BEST words anyone can hear are "perfectly normal" especially after the problems last time!!

Anyway because Wayne couldn't be there this afternoon (we were due to be scanned at 8.30am this morning) my consultant has offered to do another scan tomorrow afternoon at 1.30 so Wayne can see her 'in situ'! My consultant really is good:D

I've uploaded piccies to Facebook and once I get home I'll see if I can upload one onto here for you all to see my little Evie!

My next scan and appointment is on 23rd December so that'll be fun just before Christmas (and it's my last day until 5th January so will just make the perfect start to the Christmas break). Even better I can cancel the appointment with my midwife cos there's no point seeing her when I'm under consultant care:cool:

    I'm so happy I can't stop smiling

BB, your life sounds like mine until quite recently. I was part time teaching, exam invigilating, few hours in community education and ran a book keeping/payroll business from home.

I almost had a nervous breakdown and nearly ended up ruining my marriage. I decided to give up the business and extra teaching and opted to take a 0.8 contract teaching in full time education.

That doesnt mean that I dont put pressure on myself still as I also do mystery shopping and the odd private job but now I can actually have a weekend without feeling guilty and worried about someones books getting put to oneside till later.

You seem wonderful at organising your time but dont leave it too tight as you will literally end up having no time at all for yourself.

Dont want to preach to you BB but I have been there and I wouldnt want to go back to living like that.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
