  • I've got a job interview today - it's not a job I want but I do need one so I'll have to see how it goes.

    Hope everyone has good days!

    Morning all.

Luc & penguin - I hope you feel better soon
pink - welcome and you'll find that a lot of us have bosses to biatch about!
BB - good luck invigilating - I have great fun at our clinical examinations; then again I'm the one with the air horn and the timers (only way to get 140 students, 150 doctors and 100 simulated and real patients to hear)!
Sar - hope you don't get too wet on the walk to / from CAB
laura - hope the bf situation resolves soon.

I'm [STRIKE]disappointed[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]gutted[/STRIKE] miffed- was due to have my 20week scan at 8.30 but with the crappy weather the consultant hasn't come in to work so no scan. Cos I'm on D Floor and scan is on A floor they've asked me to come back at 1.30 and they'll squeeze me in but Wayne won't be there (he had a wasted trip this morning) so it'll be me on my own and that's if it goes ahead at all.

I hope everyone has a great day

And I dont have to leave the house at all:D Boys have managed to get to school and my neighbour has taken them and OH will be bringing them back so I can enjoy the snow from the warmth of the house.

I am feeling so much better today and am getting on better with OH.

Think I will wrap up some Christmas pressies and write out some more cards to make me feel all festive:xmassmile

((((BIG HUGS)))) to all the poorlies this morning, hope you pick up soon.

Lou - the snow is nice and sure looks pretty BUT it's no blinking fun to drive on cos it's just sitting on a layer of ice so the roads are pretty treacherous! My normal rush hour journey takes about 20 minutes (with the detour to drop my brother off about 25 minutes) but this morning it took me just under an hour.

I'm not looking forward to the journey home tonight.

Spoke to physio. No need to go up she said as there's little they can do. I've to have a warm bath, take it easy and move around gently every 15mins or so to gradually ease it doing the exercises she gave me before. So a chilled day at home, snoozing to catch up on sleep and bending in all directions for me today! Could be worse I guess...

BB that top is lovely. A bit of bling at work this time of year is no bad thing :p

No mean feat when 5 months pregnant!

morning all - snow has turned to rain here and we have much better driving conditions, is bleeding freezing though.

Runclub was cancelled last night due to icy pavements but me and 1 friend (not runchum rachel) went out and did a wee mile and half around the town centre where paths were clearer but as we were running it was getting frostier and worse underfoot. so at least we did a little....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Make that 6 months!!! Less than 10 weeks to due date!

Well done on going out anyway. It would have been so easy to rationalise a night off.

Do cats know when you're feeling bleugh? Casper is being extra cute and cuddly today :)
