***thursday 4th December DAILY CHAT

Morning all. Feeling very sorry for myself this morning. Back went into spasm at around 4am. In total agony and absolutely shattered. Can hardly walk and need to wait until 9 to phone for physio appointment :(

Hope everyone else has had a MUCH better start to their day!

Sorry to hear about your back Luc - hope you manage to get an appointment. Ive had a crappy day already still in agony with the sinusitis/ear infection and couldnt sleep - think I overdosed slightly on painkillers and spent the night throwing up. I have a lump in my throat (swollen gland?) and I cant bloody swallow properly now! I am not a good patient!

DS has his speech therapy today at the hospital which is going to be a waste of time because we cant even get him through the doors of the hospital any more so he will spend the whole appointment under the table. He is much better when they do it at home.

Sorry for the moan to start the day but I am tired and in pain! Off to work after DS appointment so I will have to apologise to my team in advance if I am short with them today!

Maybe the next one along will have had a better start Luc! x x

morning all - not a good start for any of us!

I managed to throw breakfast down my jumper as I picked the bowl up and have had to change. That meant an 'aarrggh' moment as I don't have much (work clothes stuff) in the wardrobe to go with the skirt I have on. I've put on a lovely top I took on holiday (the Joe Brown one I chopped the ribbons off if anyone remembers), but it has a square of gold sequins in the middle, which i've been meaning to see if I can remove without the whole top falling apart.

It's like this but a more autumn leaf design, but you can see what I mean about the sequins!

oh well, I'll just have to wear it.

Oh, and to catch up with last night - Len - 95 days? that's nothing mate.........drop in the ocean.........

I've just had 12 chocolate advent calendars delivered!!! The ones that were 12 for 60p from ethical superstore........my day just got a whole lot better!

Off to work until 1, then back for an hour and then doing my first ever exam vigilation back at work. I have my words ready 'you may now turn over your paper and begin!'

  • Morning all. :) Nasty rainy day here today, and I've got to walk to CAB and then home again, before picking up the girls from nursery in it too!!! Except one drowned rat of an IA later..

Hurrah! It's nearly the weekend... but that also means our last band practice before the gig... _pale_
